The wii is obviously the coolest looking and easily the most innovative looking console out there right now. It's simple, white, and sleak. We really knew what we were doing with the apperance of the Wii. Who needs a George Foreman grill, or a big huge box that can break? (And has!) The smaller the better.
As a designer it is obvious to me that both the PS3 and 360 were designed years before their launch. Back then their design may have been stylish, but now their look is obsolete. Â

Lol - Looks like SOMEONE'S compensating for something 8) - Haha I'm sorry, I couldn't resist! But in all seriousness, I reckon the X360 looks pretty neat on an angle and horizontal (that's the way it used to sit in my lounge before it broke :D ).
I like the ps3 as well because it is black and shiny, but its a little too big and the back looks ugly (but who looks at the back of their console anyways)

Really? They put two scoops of developers into each console? Sounds D-licious!!!! I want a slice of that. But warm it up first, preferably on the console itself.
Well between consoles I would say PS3 even though I don't have one yet, then it would be the Wii. The only current gen console I have is the 360 but as far as looks I think its a bit ugly.
PS3 or the Wii, since both have glossy paint ont the systems. Microsoft should of added glossy paint the 360 Elite, instead it looks bland and black. Glossy paint rules, that's why Apple designs always wins, they're the ones that started the trend
The Wii's look is pretty boring and too iPod-derivative; XBox 360 has an interesting shape but a bland color; and consumer electronics for the home shouldn't be shiny. Unless you handle the PS3 only while wearing gloves, you need to keep a hanky and a bottle of Windex handy. Also, its "high-tech" look is overdone.
Still, this generation's consoles do look better overall than their counterparts in the last generation. Remember how ugly the fat PS2 was? Remember how ugly the XBox was? I actually liked the GC's design, even with its Fisher-Price colors.
