I guess every game is going to get a thread now?
Or cows, for every Sony exclusive
So one thread a year.

Awesome. Love me some Cossacks. I'm a bit sad they are returning to first one's gameplay, instead of building on sequel's improvements, but it's been so long since last game in the series that I really don't care.
@Cloud_imperium: that post is the fucking dumbest post in this entire thread.
I know you won't reply and ask why bc you feel you're too good for logic....so don't worry....picking apart why your post is dumb as shit will stay a secret.
Unless you actually have the balls to ask.

Man Child strikes again.
Never heard of it personally. Another one of those Niche RTS's.
This is in your signature: Console gamer since 1988. Own every console back to the NES. Prefer a Controller. Play a little PC.
So no shit, you're a peasant, of course you haven't heard of a PC only franchise that quite popular a decade ago. And it's not really niche either, it's a mixture of AoE and Total War, if you believe those franchises are niche then you're even more a peasant than you already are.
I've been playing PC games on the side for roughly about 12 years now. I've probably spent more hours in WoW then you have in all your games combined. So spare me. And if I'm a "peasant" then that would make you a "Elitist PC douchebag". Based on your comments. And seeing as I have a PC to play my games on as well, that puts me a step above you. I win.
@lostrib: do you have any sort of life?
I honestly asking bc you hardly ever seem to have conversations.
It's just quip after quip as if you know it's more probable to have some sort of conversation by attempting to antagonize ppl.
Very interested in this. It seems to be highly reminiscent of Age of Empires to me. Will definitely keep an eye on this.

That's a nice load of assumptions, youngster. If you have spent more time in WoW than me in all my games combined, then yes, you win, if this was the biggest loser.
I've played PC games way more than you two combined. I win.
Wait wait wait. GSC is back and they aren't doing STALKER? Meh. I hope Cossacks comes soon so they can work on something I care about.
STALKER 2 is much bigger project. They have some assets built for the game and they can complete the game right now but it won't be as good as they want to make it. Their current team includes more Cossacks veterans. STALKER devs opened their own studios after GSC closed its doors.
Cossacks 3 will allow them to fund STALKER 2 and hire more people to work on more ambitious project. I just hope they won't end up destroying the series by removing its gameplay features for new comers. That's all I'm worried about. I hope Cossacks 3 is a huge success which means bigger and better STALKER 2. That said, I'm pretty excited for this game.

Yes, the gameplay is very much like Age of Empires with your regular workers collecting 4 (or was it 5) different resources and you use those to tech up, construct buildings, and build up your army.
The fun thing about the games is that both your land armies and sea armies can be really huge.
