except your statement is wrong and people have every right to correct you. you made an emotional argument and didn't do your research first.

CaseyWegner

Yeah i didnt bother doing research because i seen more than enough topics about the recent years of lack of exclusives on the 360. Im sure most of the people here saw them.

so you don't mind being wrong? that's fine but don't overreact when somebody calls you out on it.

Yes sir i wont do it again ;)

Based on what? Me and most of my friends game on the PC and 360 for the most part. That's not to say we don't own a ps3 or Wii though.

The hardware costs probably $4000. An extra $7000 because of the uniqueness of the product.

ahh a screw it PC. budgets are hard...just pick the most expensive everything....simples :P. on a side note...one box with all current platforms would be handy though...albeit not that pretty. get a big case...plonk a decent specced PC in there (say 900 quids worth), a PS3, a 360 and a wii. route all the output through the GPU (so you dont need to have 4 seperate connections from the box to your telly) and have it do upscaling when the machine is in console mode.....have a disc drive that can read all types of game disc....and so on. basically you pay 2000 and you have all current gen platforms (bar handhelds)...in a box....delivered directly to your door....over night (yes GTa reference :P). of course that price would include one of each controller for each console and a mouse and keyboard. downsides: it would be about 2000 it would be very big it would probably also be a bit noisey. if/when someone else takes over the TV you wont be able to play on any platform...since there all in one box. transportation would be a health hazard. or to put it another way....not a good idea for lan parties. ok...maybe not such a good idea. just a thought though.

I really don't want to know what that would cost. You know with PC gaming alone costing like 7k for a medium range gaming pc.

"If that wasn't enough to break your bank, The Big O is also offered in the configuration used by CPU Magazine, which features dual Intel Xeon X5680 processors overclocked to 4.3GHz, an EVGA SR2 motherboard, liquid cooling, quad SLI EVGA GTX 480 GPUs, 12GBs of memory, four 50GB SSD drives, two 2TB hard drives, a built-in Blu-ray burner, and a built-in 8 channel HD audio sound card, at a price of $16,999."

yeah....for the small price of a new car or heart transplant you too can have a pc/xbox360.

What's the point of building in an Xbox 360 or even owning one for that matter if you have a killer PC like that? Can the word "gimmick" be more well defined than that?

Still pretty neat...but 17,000$....holy cow... :l

It seems they took the Slim Xbox 360 Motherboard and dumped it into the case along with the Motherboard for the PC, over all its a nice idea, bit expensive but you could built it cheaper yourself if you knew how.

The Xbox 360 part is Liquid cooled in the PC system meaning it'll be alot safer.

Well it is debatable and there's different sides to it; no doubt about it. I just think that with a PC like that, you're pretty much set for life as far as gaming goes. :P
