MorisUkunRasik
LOL, how would gears of war run on xbox360 if it wasnt optimized at all for 360?
do you know what optimized means?
optimize get the most out of the hardware you are working with?
so you understand something doesn't necessarily have to be optimized to work right?
yes.
xbox360 could of ran gears of war better.
it's just the dev team at epicgames are noob's to unified architecture and ati pretty much, they are nvidia paid fanwhores, sponsored by nvidia.
But i bet you anything 360 still runs unreal tournament 3 better than ps3 and has better textures.
not necessarily, the UE is a multiplat engine, and since sony has work with epic on optimizing it for the ps3 its very possible that the ps3 version may run better and look better than the 08 version for the 360
this is probably a more accurate representation, though the difference will be very minor.
not possible for unreal tournament 3 on ps3 than xbox360 if dev takes advantage of both consoles.
xbox360 10 mb edram + 512 mb unified between gpu/cpu
ps3 256 mb dedicated for cpu 256 mb dedicated for gpu.
the ps3 is built much different than the 360, so different that conventional specs can't be measured side by side.Probably the biggest reason that sony worked with epic to touch up the unreal engine
ya....apples and oranges.
