ok im very confused since square enix has announced a bunch of new ff games could someone tell me what FF 13 versus , what the difference between that and FF 13 , and how many psp FF are there gonna be i saw one that was realted to FF7 but it looks like and anime movie isntead of a game, and how many DS games are there gonna be for DS, to everyone that answers my questions thank you, especially the FF 13 versus one
FFXIII and FFVXIII are both exclusive to the PS3. Vesus is an action-adventure RPG like Kingdom Hearts, whereas the normal FFXIII is a real time RPG, like FFXII. FFXIII Agito is for mobile phones. There are also 3 more FFXIII games that haven't been seen yet and nobody knows that platform they are coming to.

I believe Dissidia was one of those games, while the others are rumored to be FFXIII Haeresis and another unnamed title, unless The Last Remnant was it. That's concerning the Fabula Nova Crystallis Project anyway, while Square-Enix is still making other FF titles, like the DS' FFXII: Revenant Wings and the PSP's prequel to FFVII, Crisis Core, featuring Zack as the main player and highlighting the events at Nibelheim in the FFVII story.
Uhm....What the HELL Why are there so many FF games? Does Square Enix see that they have taken the franchise as far as it can possibly go and now they are just milking it for everything it's worth?

Screw you Square you just upset me with that nonsense. Advent Children was just Eye candy i guess, if you like that over the top battle sequences. Dirge of Cerberus was trash. FFX-2 was awful compared to FFX. Stop making sequels and remakes.

I'll keep this sharp and concise:
Versus XIII is a more action orientated game set in the same "Fabula Nova Crystallis" universe as the main FF XIII. It is being directed by Tetsuya Nomura, the guy who made Kingdom Hearts, and intends to tell an entirely independant story. It is slated for a TBA 2008 release.
The difference between the two is that Versus XIII will be more action focused a la Dirge of Cerberus or Kingdom Hearts, while the main XIII will be an expansion of the old Active Time Battle (turn-based) system. XIII aims to recreate the level of battle visuals seen in Advent Children.
There will be five PSP titles - Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII (an expansion of the FF VII plot); Final Fantasy 20th Anniversay Edition (a special edition of the first ever game, celebrating the series' 20th anniversary); Final Fantasy II 20th Anniversary Edition (similar to the previous one); Final Fantasy Tactics: The Lion War (a PSP-specific remake of the PS1 classic) and finally Final Fantasy Dissidia (a 3D action-fighting game featuring past characters a la Super Smash Bros).
There will be five DS titles - Final Fantasy IV (a 3D remake of the SNES version, in the same vein as the recent Final Fantasy III DS remake); FFXII: Revenant Wings (a kind of sequel to FFXII); Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo Tales (a mini-game entry centered on the series' Chocobo animals); Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Rings of Fate (an extension of the GC franchise) and Final Fantasy Tactics A2 (the official sequel to the original PS1 classic). That gave me a headache. Anyway, taking into consideration that FF13 will be turned into a series that will last 10 years...... This is only just the beginning.
