I've always found winning to be more fun than losing.
SW__Troll
I've always found that having fun makes winning or losing irrelevant. Winning is nice, but secondary.
I suppose it depends on how you define fun. In my book, fun is enjoying the game and having a good time with the people I'm playing with. Then there are people like yourself that place winning higher up on the priority list. Nothing wrong with that at all.
But there's a threshold that some people cross where winning is a top top priority, even in public games. You've heard them. They're the ones berating their teammates for not being good enough. They're the ones shouting orders and cursing when things don't go their way.
Getting back on topic...
Losing cross platform play isn't going to ruin anything. I'm sure CSGO will be plenty fun without it. But I forgot where we are. Apparently, here in SW, you can't have fun at all unless you can hold something against the system you hate.
With winning comes fun
It's not that winning is higher up on the priority list. Rather they're practically combined together into one entity.
Winning is fun. You maximize the possible enjoyment you get out of a multiplayer game by winning.
And that's where we differ. For me, fun is independent of winning.
