Looks like you all got owned today. Seriously, how delicious is that? Cake-delicious, I'd say.

And yes, I will be buying both games since they look awesome. And no, GS reviews mean squat to me. I just find this funny for all you fanboys that think God, Allah and Buddha review these games, and therefore their scores mean everything in the world.

The irony on these forums is outright hilarious.

First of all, I'm not a hermit. And yes, hermits were absolutely burned by Hellgate, but then again you could see it coming a mile away. Second, Uncharted was always considered THE exclusive for the PS3 this year, and many a cows hopes were pinned on that game, so it was just as disappointing as Mass Effect.

Finally, I hope you all learned a valuable lesson here. Don't take the reviews too seriously, just enjoy the game.

Not really I was waiting for Mass Effect to be on the PC next year. :D

Its quite funny to see the Lems damage controlling after the 8.5. I loved the threads where they had: "Yo! Dis be AAA fo' sho'"... promptly followed by the score.

I thought HG was 8.5 material until I played the demo. I quickly changed my mind after that.

The actual game is far better than the demo, you are really missing a good (short!) game.

Thats true, everyone is afraid to hype a game in the official thread. Lets face it pre-Lair this game's hype was solid AAA.

Hmmm ME only got an 8.5? That is somewhat of a dissapointment. Still a great game (just like Uncharted), but I know people were expecting(and promised)more.

I was curious what it would get however, I saw a few reviews before GS that talked of various problems of the game yet seemed to ignore said problems in the final score.

That is why I trust GS scores so much (among a few other places). They are ultimately harsh but truthfull in the reviews. Alot of people don't like to see a (supposedly)AAA game get scored below that on GS,yet I KNOW if a game got a AAA from Gamespot, I will not be dissapointed.
