but here's the problem buddy.  Never before has one company produced a console that was 2 full generations behind the competition.  Here's the other part of that equasion....you do know that PS3 and xbox360 counts as two potential markets for developers...wii is only one.  So even if wii has more single consoles sold both the PS3 and 360 market together is even bigger.  And so far...it looks as if that's the way develoepers are seeing it too. 

But don't worry wii will always have it's Dragon ball GTXYZ and trama center games keep nintendo fans on the edge of thier seats, lol.

Yep, I agree. Cows and lems do nothing but argue about which console looks better...problem is they look exactly the same. Yet, while they are arguing, their consoles are getting trampled by the Wii.

Still, they're under some weird impression that the most powerful console wins and always gets the most games, yet every gen it has been the exact opposite.

The wii is getting more game announcments then the Xbox 360 or PS3 right now. What new games were announced for either of those in the past two months? And at the rate the Wii is selling it's poised to have a larger install base then both teh Xbox 360 and PS3 combined by the end of the year.

First you mean current generation games. No that's a hardware issue. And as it's been said before the Wii caught most developers off gard.. they were expecting it to do the gamecube.   There have been more newly announced Wii games in the past 4 months then PS3 or Xbox 360 games.

People who think the Wii won't be around long are just not seeing the facts. If power and graphics is all that matters, then how do you explain the sale charts?

All this hate towards a gaming machine leads me to the conclusion that some people need to grow up.

Another thing some people don't realize is at the end of the day, it is all about the games. The PS2 was the least powerful of the last three consoles and guess what sold the most?

Speaking of, what exclusive did the PS2 have that pushed its sales through the roof? GTA, which is no longer exclusive.

I'm a fanboy of no system for I do not own any of the current consoles. I do, however, look at what is appealing to whom and it seems the Wii appeals to everyone. People who are bashing it and claiming it isn't a next-gen console need to take off their high-graphic glasses and see the big picture. If you are claiming it isn't next-gen, then by all means you are saying that Sony and Microsoft are dictating what it next-gen and that is plain bogus.

Ok they refute it but do you honestly believe theyre telling the truth? ALL consoles since the beginning of gaming have been holding out to increase demand, the Wii is very cheap to produce so theres no reason as to why theyre hard to find.

I have a link a few posts up but they dont admit, Gamestop just called them out on it and they refuted it. Obviously its true though.
