I always thought that a consoles hardware and exclusives is what made it stand out from the competition. But to lems its all about the few multiplates that run better. :lol:

Also, multiplats took over this generation, all of them inferior on the PS3. Best-selling games on HD twins = multiplats. Biggest phenomenons this generation = multplat.

Only thing I know is I am a PC gamer with a PS3. My PC is for PC exclusives and about 90% of multiplats. My PS3 is for PS3 exclusives and the other 10% of multiplats. The 360 only has three games (gears 2,gears3, and Alan wake) that I would care to play that isn't on PC and/or PS3. The 360 actually has less games for me than the Wii does. 360 is better for gaming better multiplats, longer lasting online gaming (halo,Gears,Forza) Ps3 is better for streaming stuff (like movies, music etc..) and has some good exclusives like Uncharted and Killzone. Ithink 70% of the time the 360multiplats may be slightly better, but not to the naked eye. Only under extream detail. 30% of the time noticeable better on 360. But then 30% of the Multiplats looks and play better on the PS3.

I personaly believe they are pretty equal consoles. 360 with the better GPU, PS3 with the better CPU.

Well if we're talking multiplats, anybody can play that on PC so you don't need a 360 for hardly anything.

It's handy to have but it's quickly overstating its own importance, especially with XBL fees and ads, it's more headache than its worth.

PS3 on the other hand has very similar level of graphics, and a library of stuff you can't play on anything else, so yeah the PS3 is worth owning and the 360 isn't.

My 360 is 3 years collecting dust. 2007 was incredible. But 2010 and 2011 were horrible for the 360. Yeah, the multiplats, I know, but apart from Skyrim, which I actually enjoy on my PS3, what is all the fuss about? Gears3? Forza4?Halo...? I have sooo much alternatives on my PS3, and different styles of games. Sony's first party support is fantastic. Xbox360 is for players who cannot afford a high end PC.
