It has kiddy graphics so it must be kiddy >_>. Or thats what you guys say about nintendo games. But now that a decent kiddy looking game is coming to your "mature" system, you guys are all over it and just dropped the "kiddy" insults...

WIN Seriously, LBP is kiddy that is a fact. Make any excuse you want, frankly the only people who are insulted by the term "kiddy" are the too self-conscious. To me kiddy =/= bad. I like most of the so called "kiddy" games.

What about all those kiddy comments about pokemon, pikman, animal crossing, kirby, and starfox? Where is mario in those? PS3 has a kiddy game and it looks good! When sheep praise a kiddy game, its bad. When cows praise a kiddy game, its ok. Nice double standard

It can be called kiddy, it has the rather cute look to it. Though I dont care if a game is called kiddy or not, if the game is fun im going to play it reguardless of what the fanboys on System Wars label it as.

PS1 always had their share of kiddy games. I never bash Nintendo for them catering to family games. I really like what they're doing. Sorry, I know there are people who seem to think Maturity is guns, sex, and violence. Don't let them bug you though. The top 25 games ever sold, most are 'kiddy' games.

I agree that they make too many mario party games, but i dont think they over use their main franshises. There is usaully only one game in that franshise per generation.

Yeah with spin-offs. THe point is SOny has 3 mian platformers. There were 9 main games (i.e. platforming games) for those series. Nintendo has one main platformer. It released 1 main game (i.e. platformer) For its last system.

He named three franchises that all had at least 3 games in one generation, you named a sub-series that's had 7 games in two generations. His is a lot more significant.

actually, you can make it where as a 'dark theme' setting is there. I know the pascal colors is kiddy in that screen shop, but imagaine a cute little guy in a dark setting? Ratchet & Clank for example.

And Nintendo is kiddy, all them POS games it comes out with that appeals to little kids that jump for joy when they play it.

I don't see anything big about LBP but it does look better than anything the Wii is bringing out.

You're just grasping at straws. This game is family friendly, admit it. It is not however "kiddy" kiddy is games like Elmo's ABC's and Barbie that are rated EC.

And Nintendo is kiddy, all them POS games it comes out with that appeals to little kids that jump for joy when they play it.

I don't see anything big about LBP but it does look better than anything the Wii is bringing out.

wow, your damage control is laughable. the point was to show you cows the hypocracy inside all of you. Viva Pinata was beneath all of you because it was "teh kiddy", yet Cows were flying over the damn moon after seeing this obviously kid-tastic game footage. will it be fun for adults? of course. is there anything wrong with US liking it? no. but that point was lost on Cows with VP and a lot of the Nintendo games until just yesteday. COWS AM FAIL.
