actually, you can make it where as a 'dark theme' setting is there. I know the pascal colors is kiddy in that screen shop, but imagaine a cute little guy in a dark setting? Ratchet & Clank for example.

You're just grasping at straws. This game is family friendly, admit it. It is not however "kiddy" kiddy is games like Elmo's ABC's and Barbie that are rated EC.

So? Have you ever actually thought about Pikmin? It's a brutal simulation of survival of the fittest, pitting stronger beasts against a hoarde of smaller, weaker beasts. It strikes me as pretty dark when you're going up against a boss and you Pikmin get slaughtered, mercilessly because you don't know what you're doing. That strikes me as pretty dark. But it doesn't stop Pikmin from being called kiddy.

I don't care if they get AA or AAA scores, Wariorware got AAA right? (correct me if im wrong), what the HELL am I playing that junk for?

I already said I don't care for LBP much, don't care for Viva Pinata much either, and with that said ALL Wii games won't appeal to me much either.

Alright and what the hell is Viva Pinata?

And Nintendo is kiddy, all them POS games it comes out with that appeals to little kids that jump for joy when they play it.

I don't see anything big about LBP but it does look better than anything the Wii is bringing out.

Your other statements have no relevance to it, then yo u talk about Nintendo's games for the younger audience.... strange... most people playing Wiis are older, and Wii Sports is a family hit. Moms, Dads, Uncles, Big and LIttle Sisters or Brothers play it. LBP has the childish theme right down to Nintnedo's own Animal Crossing meets Pikmin style. Cute little guys huge world (cause they are so small) tackling obstacles and other puzzles, and all while doing it in a childish fashion with cute little characters like AC.

Cause this is the first game ever with a level editor :roll: This game is family friendly, you cannot deny it so stop trying. That's not a bad thing, but it does show huge damage control on the part of the cows. Hypocrisy FTL

That's the key in all of it, it doesn't matter if the game is "kiddy" or "hardcore" or "gives you a hard-on". What matters is if it is fun. But you blantally accused that ALL Nintendo games are for children and that only children can get excited about them and enjoy them. THAT is the point. If you don't like Nintendo games, that's fine. If you decide to dismiss them because they are "toony" well I say you're missing out and judging a book by it's cover.

Sure enough. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised to see some people manage to sneak porn into LBP. Still, the standing rule appears to be that if the graphics are cute and heavily stylized, then it's "kiddy". That's SW for you.

I think littlebigplanet looks awful. It's a side scroller with nice textures, co-op play, real world physics, and a level creator. It looks boring and kiddy.

I don't get any fun in playing those games. Only game on that system I would play would probably be SSB3. Not all of them, but most of them, a good percentage. I would want a Wii if I was like 12 years old.

Yes, because little kids just love Sadness, Project H.A.M.M.E.R., Red Steel, Residant Evil, and Manhunt 2. And AAA games like Wario Ware and TP (it's AAA everywhere but gamespot), and AA games like Trauma Center, Monkey Ball. Even a tech demo got high A. These games are obviously such $%^&. Just give it up. As for counting Wii in the console war. No, it has made the PS3 and 360 completely obsolete for their lack of motion sensing. It is outside of the console war completely.

1.) why do you correlate "POS games" with "kiddy" games. Causality does not imply causation. do you understand either my question or my statement?

2.) how do you define "POS"? All of the AA and AAA games Nintendo churns out year in and year out are on the phone asking me what you mean by that. :|

3.) I can't name any more games I want to play for my PS3 than I can for my Wii.

But you wouldn't know about what's purely fun anymore. I bet your collection is mostly EA games and SOCOM because they're "so grown", amirite?

Because there juss that, kiddy and no fun to me. It may be fun to you and others, but FPS is my favorite genre and Wii isn't going to be offering me much of that.

You need to form a better arguement. First you question Viva Pinata for what? Your other statements have no relevance to it, then yo u talk about Nintendo's games for the younger audience.... strange... most people playing Wiis are older, and Wii Sports is a family hit. Moms, Dads, Uncles, Big and LIttle Sisters or Brothers play it. LBP has the childish theme right down to Nintnedo's own Animal Crossing meets Pikmin style. Cute little guys huge world (cause they are so small) tackling obstacles and other puzzles, and all while doing it in a childish fashion with cute little characters like AC.

Tell me a few games on Wii right now that you like and/or play. I don't even count Wii in the console war. Yeah, it may be a family system, but I don't care for a family system. The point is I'll stick by what I said, the Wii has POS games. It's kiddy.

Kiddy does not equal bad. Give us some good reasons why ALL wii games are bad.

Because there juss that, kiddy and no fun to me. It may be fun to you and others, but FPS is my favorite genre and Wii isn't going to be offering me much of that.

Stop using kiddy as a derogatory word. Kiddy does not equal bad. And if you dont like nintendo games thats fine, but dont call them a POS just because of the way they look.

2.) how do you define "POS"? All of the AA and AAA games Nintendo churns out year in and year out are on the phone asking me what you mean by that. :|

3.) I can't name any more games I want to play for my PS3 than I can for my Wii.

But you wouldn't know about what's purely fun anymore. I bet your collection is mostly EA games and SOCOM because they're "so grown", amirite?

With the games that Wii has, it could never be my only console. 3. Didn't understand that. Hmm some EA games, never really liked SOCOM, love GoW, love GeOW, Ninja Gaiden, CoD3, UT3 im anticipating. Kiddy doesn't appeal to me.

wow, your damage control is laughable. the point was to show you cows the hypocracy inside all of you. Viva Pinata was beneath all of you because it was "teh kiddy", yet Cows were flying over the damn moon after seeing this obviously kid-tastic game footage. will it be fun for adults? of course. is there anything wrong with US liking it? no. but that point was lost on Cows with VP and a lot of the Nintendo games until just yesteday. COWS AM FAIL.

The point YOU fail to understand is that the critique of Nintendo's "kiddy" titles is that they make up 90% percent of the library. This is a stupid arguement made by stupid cows but the grain of truth within it is that Playstation historically has had more variety than Nintendo's and even Microsoft's systems.

1.) if you don't like a game, then say it doesn't appeal to you. You need to define your terms before you use them. It confuses people. 2.) Play New Super Mario Bros, Viva, Cooking Mama or Elite Beat Agents and tell me you're bored after "like 5 seconds". 3.) Your request was for me to name some games right now that I like and/or play, as if that number would be less than the games that I want to play RIGHT NOW on my PS3. It's not. your point was a moot one.

What's wrong with using their classic characters if the games they are in are very different?

I was proving that nintendo re uses stuff more then sony, and I proved my point. I'm not saying it's a bad thing to re use characters if there very popular.

Last time I checked, Sony had Devil May Cry series, Metal Gear Solid series, Jak and Daxter series, Ratchet and Clank series, final fantasy, and Sly series released more than three times Last gen. Thats about the same as nintendo re-using mario party 4 times this last gen. At least nintendo used the main series of their franchises at least 2 last gen.........

Well I have seen a cow on here, can't remember name, say that LBP is kiddy done right, and then goes on to add that Mario is just a last generation platformer, and how LBP is going to revolutionize the genre.

first of all: Kiddy != Family friendly. Most of the "kiddy" nintendo games are not kiddy. Barbie's Horse Adventure is "kiddy". Big Bird's Egg Hunt is "kiddy". Just because blood and guts aren't flying across the games doesn't mean they're "kiddy". :| get your definitions right. now then, if you have a problem with family-friendly games (those lacking blood n' guts), then good for you. Still doesn't change the fact that the Cows can't suddenly forget that when VP came out that "teh kiddy" was all they had to say about it. Forget the fact that it's a great game and very deep. Now they can't take the stupidity being rubbed back in their faces.
