I'm playing Lair on my 65" 1080p TV and the game is in 1080p. I have to tell you that as far as my experience goes so far with it (and I'm on the 4th level) it's a very good game and fun to play and the stone bridges and buildings and water and a lot more look very good. The game is really lots better than the reviews by far.

To respond to this comment, which is just rediculous. We Cows see the value and fun in the PS3 as youxfans don't seem to understand. I owned both a 360 and PS3 for 6 months and I just decided that the failures of the system coupled with most games on the 360 being uninteresting to me just wasn't in my best interest to keep it. Now I own 2 PS3's and no 360's.

It's just utterly rediculous that they actually believe the games like Lair and others that have been reviewed low are actually bad games. Lair in full 1080p flying around with beautiful graphics and scenery, great cutscenes, fun objectives, great monsters, landing and fighting and taking off again to fight ice dragons etc in air variety combat is really fun and is a very good game to me. My nephews watch me play it and they say wow that's cool and they watch me fight and land and fry and hurl and throw guys and then they play it and think this is just way awesome. Then we all play 4 player splitscreen Warhawk online on my 65" TV and we all just have such a blast laughing and trying to steal each team's flag and flying around and tanks, jeeps, rocket launchers. I mean if 360 people really believe that there aren't quality games and fun games on PS3, they're sadly mistaken.

And then a bunch of AA and some AAA shooters that I didnt even mention.

And those games are out now that the PS3 doesnt have. To make a list of stuff that the 360 is "missing" you can only name future titles. if i name games that arent out how about Mass effect (lock AAA), Ninja Gaiden 2 (lock AAA), Fable 2 (high AA or AAA), Gears 2 (lock AAA-AAAA), World in Conflict (got 9.5 for PC). Then you must think they are good games. I thought you said that 360 games did not appeal to you.

If these games are good enough for you to play them on your PC, then they are worth playing on a 360 if someone does not have a good PC, right? If someone is thinking of buying a next-gen system, and he/she is an avid console gamer, then the 360 is a good choice, no?

A PS3 owner who is not interested in playing games on a PC would be missing out of those games. A 360 owner will miss out of of those games that have not gone cross-platform and are exclusive to the PS3. I wish all games were made for all platforms.

Are you planning on buying UT3 for the PC? I'm still undicided.

Naughtydog killed this thread. Just face it: MS lies the biggest focus on shooters.

God of War 3 is probably the biggest hype for the PS3 so far.Maybe another game but for now its GoW3.

Personally i think Goldeneye is the best shooter ever.

Please do the same with the ps3, with games that have acctually been reviewed and scored. Kinda strange how you just stopped at 8.6 when eternal sonata is an fine RPG at 8.5. The 360 has a lot of Jrpgs coming up, taking care of that lost piece of the puzzle.
