Well atleast we have somthing to do, you lemmings had to wait a hole year doing nothing to finaly get Gears of wat. I feel bad for you guysGsSanAndreaswrong. tomorrow graw 2 comes out. in the summer mass effect comes out. forza 2 comes out in may. tell me, when does mgs come out again? oh yea, 2008 for NA annd europe.

i never said anything about live. i just said it was a rip-off. it's essentially second-life + the sims + mii. my point is that cows get hyped over nothing. all of this was done before. atleast live has voice and video chat. does the ps3 even have that? also, the idea of playing a game in a game is just stupid ( atleast in home it is.) i wouldn't want to play a virtual character playing an arcade game.

You can obviously see the connection between the avatars and MIi. And then one can make the connection between the trophies and achievements. They didn't make exact copies but they are very close.

true i did wait a year for gears btu atleast there were games that came out before gears that gave some entertainment like graw, pgr3, pdz0(while it lasted), call of duty 2, etc. my point was that atleast there was more than one game worth playing until the good games came along. true there is a waiting period between good games, sometimes 6 months, sometimes a year or more, but atleast we have enjoyable games between them.

i'm not saying they can't borrow ideas from others , but to blatantly steal from others and claim it as your own is just wrong. sony should also have the ability to come up it it's own original ideas but unfortunately they don't.

Achievements wasn't an idea introduced by Microsoft and has been done before. Mii - wasn't an original idea either. It has been done before, what has your point been? If Sony blatantly stole ideas, so did Microsoft and Nintendo.

it's called unfair competition and stealing. to take property form party self gain of party b is stealing, get over it. what makes me angry is the fact that sony can't think for themselves and rely on the ideas of the competitor. and as for your first statement, you can get wow or second life and still end up with something better than psn home. psn, msn, sound familiar?

rfom flopped, fnr3 and madden are ports, rr7 is an "upgraded" rr6 (upgraded in quotes because it's graphically worse than rr6 for xbox 360), vf5 is coming to 360, gt hd is a tech demo until gt 5 comes aout next year. all you have is tekken 5 which has no online so it can boring rather quick.

it's called unfair competetion and stealing. to take property form party self gain of party b is stealing, get over it. what makes me angry is the fact that sony can't think for themselves and rely on the ideas of the competitor. and as for your first statement, you can get wow or second life and still end up with something better than psn home. psn, msn, sound familiar?

Is ther a lobby of sorts wer your character can talk to others and dance? What exactly is the same about home and XBL? i never said anything about live. i just said it was a rip-off. it's essentially second-life + the sims + mii. my point is that cows get hyped over nothing. all of this was done before. atleast live has voice and video chat. does the ps3 even have that? also, the idea of playing a game in a game is just stupid ( atleast in home it is.) i wouldn't want to play a virtual character playing an arcade game.

Home is nothing like achievements. People have been awarded score/items in many games. Microsoft just incorporated that into their Live service. Sony did not copy this from Microsoft if anything it was copied from various games. Mii - Home is somewhat similar to Mii's but it is MUCH MUCH more. Sony borrowed an idea and expanded it a lot more. Conclusion: You are making a big deal out of this....and yes, you are whining.

if you had read any of my posts, you would know that i never said anything about acheivment points. ms uses acheivements so that the hardcore gamers can brag about how much better they are than someone else. i'm not making a big deal out of this, you're just making it seem that way. i'm merely saying that sony, rather coming up what an original idea of their own, they just steal it from the competition, change somethings around and say they thought of it. that's not whinig, that's seeing through sony's bull****.
This is why competition is good. PS3 fired a shot at live today. Taking pieces of other peoples onlines and making it own. God knows Sony has struggled to come up with anything completely on their own. Microsoft will have an answer for this. They want to be #1 online and they will not let Sony steal its thunder. The only thing that makes me worry about Home is Sony has overpromised and underdelivered on pretty much everything in the last 24 months that it is hard to take them seriously. Home looks like it has possibilities, but if the past has shown us anything is that they will not deliver on the full promises. Plus, Home does look like a microtransaction hole. I will be curious to see what is all included and what you have to pay for.bvinton45
my guess would be that one is alloted a limited range of funishings and have to dish out like $5 for a couch. hopefully they don't have charges as high as horse armor.

I thought RFOM, FNR3, MADDEN, RR7, VF5, GT HD, Tekken DR were already out
rfom flopped, fnr3 and madden are ports, rr7 is an "upgraded" rr6 (upgraded in quotes because it's graphically worse than rr6 for xbox 360), vf5 is coming to 360, gt hd is a tech demo until gt 5 comes aout next year. all you have is tekken 5 which has no online so it can boring rather quick.
funny since all the "great" games are coming to ps3 oblivion, fear, splinter cell da, saints row, ghost recon, rainbow six etc. and rr7 gs said looked better then rr6

it is totally original...stop hiding behind second life... where in any other console history have they had something similiar to home? thats what i thought. so stop sayin but teh second life but teh copying but where are teh games!  well e3 is coming up... why do u lemmings have to try and find every nick and cranny to find a way to bash HOME... did we bash live..no.... we thought its good.
