you could try making a new account. all new accounts get a free month of gold, as long as you turn down their 'subscribe now' prompt or whatever. it's the last step when you make an account from you Xbox.
should still work, I used this a couple times when I got my 360.
Gold only. Just checked. Fail.
Though, I did get the Mass Effect 2 demo.
just played it. pretty lame that theres a time limit on your gameplay

[QUOTE="vashkey"][QUOTE="Ravensmash"] I thought not, and I was right. However - you can earn achievements in the demo, which are then automatically unlocked when you play the retail title - new idea for a demo.RavensmashFable 2 and Mass Effect 2 already did it. :S Had to remember that haha Although to be fair to Crackdown, Fable 2's was simply pub games from the arcade, not a demo of the retail game - and Mass Effect's 2 demo was post launch. Unlocking achievements in the trial product of a retail game before release is pretty unique. Actually, they released Fable 2 episodically. The first Episode is free, essentially a demo. If you decide to purchase the second episode you get the achievements you earned in episode one.

About the same as the original, which isn't a bad thing. I did get to see the new renegade orbs that travel around the map though. Looking at the vidocs though theres some stuff I haven't seen yet. You'd be surprised how hindered you feel by a thirty minute time limit. I didn't actually explore too much. I kept hoping around platforms collecting orbs. During the entirety of the demo I only found three different weapons. I've only done one session so far though. I intend to play more when my friends download it as well.[QUOTE="Ravensmash"] :S Had to remember that haha Although to be fair to Crackdown, Fable 2's was simply pub games from the arcade, not a demo of the retail game - and Mass Effect's 2 demo was post launch. I guess the most disapointing part, and it always as been since the first screen shots showed up, is the graphics aren't imporved at all. It's looks the same as the original and the original wasn't at all impressive graphically back in 2007.

Its impressive visually from a technical standpoint. You can always see the little humans and cars moving around no mater how high you go, or also see people on the other side of the map walking around. In GTA they just cut them from being rendered.dont have a 360 to plug my HDD into atm...Gamestop took it.flash drives are your friend:P

EDIT: Plus I already payed for the damn cable so yeah...
Playing alone was alright but co-op was a lot of fun. At one point my friend and I just started blasting each other with a shotgun that sends everything flying.
Also, it's pretty cool that you can start earning achievements playing the demo. I hope that becomes standard.
Graphically it's dull, enemy AI is horrid, controls are kind of janky ... yet I was compelled to play the entire 30 minutes and still wanted more. :|W1NGMAN-That's the beauty if it......it's just, ridiculously fun :) Hoping the full game has a bit more of a structured feel - that's what let it down last time for me.
i really hated the game, hated the controls, hated the outdated graphics hated every aspect of this sequel. it feels just like crackdown 1 demo. i played them after each other very minor improvments. no wonder microsoft did not show this at there e3 conference.
Graphics is understandable, but what was wrong with the controls? It controls like a lot of other sandbox/adventure games. They give you 30 minutes to play so if I were you I would give it more time because it sounds like you judged it way too early.i really hated the game, hated the controls, hated the outdated graphics hated every aspect of this sequel. it feels just like crackdown 1 demo. i played them after each other very minor improvments. no wonder microsoft did not show this at there e3 conference.
