Alan Wake should sell more and this patch in the form of disc should probably sell less. With that said it's a very enjoyable patch in the form of a disc.

Great fun chaotic messy game, 23 hours into it already and counting. Though the multiplayer modes are garbage :P I can't wait for Crackdown 3 as I know it will have much more dev time.-RocBoys9489-
I'm really looking forward to Crackdown 3, considering how C2 ended and the possiblities that could be opened up due to that ending. But we need a new City, and we need transforming vehicles back. :P

It really is Crackdown 1.5, a glorified expansion pack, but yeah no matter how bad the game is or how much content is recycled its still awesome fun.
Why? From what i hear crackdown 2 is a good game, that would explain it's 7/10 = good.Very sad ...

From several other sources, it's less then good.
From pretty much every source, it's infact worse then the previous game.
I guess this month is a bit dry.
Good to see people have opinions of their own instead of listening to some of the ridiculous hate spewed.

Agree with that! It just goes to show how online game forums are a small percentage of gamers yet people around here like to think it's actually indicative of market trends.
[QUOTE="-Snooze-"]Sorry to get of topic, but Snooze, who is the girl in your sig??? and on topic: Goes to show what a good ad campaign can do, too bad Alan Wake didn't get the same treatment. That happens to be Cheryl Cole :D It looks alright if you haven't played the first, although I do kind of want it for the co-op (a few friends are playing it constantly online). May get the first one off the marketplace :)Very sad ...

sometimes i feel really dissapointed to be english, lego star wars? lego harry potter?seriously? sometimes i feel like the only core gamer in the whole country, lol, at least here at GS all the english gamers have sane taste in games,loldelta3074
Lego Star Wars was good. Easy but still had pretty fun co-op and a good amount of content. LSWII was even better.Haven't play LHP but sounds like it is good. I wonder if they added online?

Hell, Lego Harry Potter probably has more content than most releases this year. On topic, I wish Microsoft had advertised Alan Wake as well as they did Crackdown. Perhaps the game would have sold better then.
I just got this crappy rehash of aflop :P. Seriously though I'm looking forward to seeing the new missionstructureand how annoyingand challenging the renegade orbs are. Hopefully the sales will have Microsoft give Ruffian more time on Crackdown 3 if they make it.
super mario galaxy 2 is worthy as is red steel 2 people just need to go out and buy these istead of wastin money on just dance or that other ubisoft game listed at bottom , seriously, who buys this stuff
Thanks for generalising there.... And Crackdown 2 is obviously far from 'crappy' .UK gamers run after any crappy game released on the x360, i won't be surprised if N3: 2 is no. 1 in UK chart when it's out .

The first one was far from crappy also. It doesn't make the individual product 'crappy', but I get what you're saying.Exactly, certain aspects of Crackdown are fun like collecting orbs or playing co-op. If someone buys the game just to play through it solo for the experience, they will be disappointed. It pretty much just depends on the person like anything else. Some people don't just take games for what they are, especially at $60.I really dont understand where people get crappy from, the game is tons of good fun. Its not the best game ever or a HUGE improvement over hte first, but playing COOP campaign with 3 friends is simply awesome.

They are giving you opinions they found from a few review sites; not their own opinions ;)
I'd pay no mind to it if I were you. It's their loss.

I guess it's ok since SMG2 and RDR have been out for a while. But I wonder - do some of the people feel scammed? This game is just like Crackdown 1.Mr_Cumberdale
You mean fun? Yes, it is.
Sure, it's not a GOTY contender, but it's not a bad game at all. If you played the first one, it may seem like much of the same to a fault. Newcomers will be ok with it.
At the end of the day, is it a fun game? Like I said, yes, it is.

There's a big difference between someone stating "I heard from reviews that not much has changed from the first" and "It's a crappy game". The second statement implies that you have played it.
