Crackdown (360) vs. Infamous (PS3) vs. Prototype (multi-plat)

I'm more looking forward to Prototype on the PC personally.

Crackdown was...ok. Infamous looks terrible IMO. The gameplay and power usage just looks real clunky to me. Perhaps if a KB/Mouse was added he could actually hit something using the powers (referring to the live demonstration at E3). Prototype looks phenomenal and the ability to absorb someone and become them (who doesn't want to immitate an officer and infilitrate the military base? Seriously...) is defintely something I'm looking forward to.

Crackdown automatically wins for already being released but between the two other games...

inFAMOUS had a Game Of The Show calibur presence at E3, and Prototype I don't even think was there... inFAMOUS looks amazing, so I have to give the nod to the guys at Sucker Punch.

aww man Infamous looks like SWFU with modern setting. I was always under the impression you would be some type oof super hero wher you customize your powers. I am no longer interested in the game now.too_much_eslim

And the gameplay looks fantastic.

Let's hope Infamous has some variety in it's gameplay and it's not just: shoot a lightening bolt out your hand, go here, shoot some more people, shoot the big guy.

Let's hope it's got some other stuff to do in the city.

It's hard to think that with sandbox games coming so far since Grand Theft Auto III kickstarted the genre almost seven years that there are still avenues that have not been explored, or at least done well enough that we're tired of this style of game. Sucker Punch has found a way to capitalize on the superhero sandbox genre by taking away the licensed heroes we've fought with to death and giving us a new hero with enough freedom to make him our own creation. It seems like Sucker Punch used their comic-styling experience with the Sly Cooper games in most, if not all, aspects of Infamous, which makes it feel more like an evolution of those games rather than just being completely new. It's a shame that Infamous couldn't help make the PS3's fall lineup stronger, but it certainly seems that Infamous should help give the PS3 a good start to 2009, with the help of fellow spring 2009 game Killzone 2.

Tbh i don't think either of them will be as much fun as Crackdown, but they will probably have a better story etc. :)

crackdown was great although it didnt have much of a story besides clearing the islands of the gang leaders...it was fun playing with a friend driving around in co-op blowing the crap out of everything. I wasnt a fan of the graphics but it sure did look pretty during the night time.

Infamous. I just love it. I love the electric powers, the graphics, the music, the story, the characters, the controls, the gameplay, the enemies, the little side missions. This game is awesome. And im just basing this off of the demo. I cant wait.

Prototype...idk about this one. IMO it doesnt look great at all. It just looks like the developers just made this game into a free for all super hero sandbox game that it isnt going to be polished at all because of all the powers the main character has. Infamous is different, sucker punch spent so much time finding out how cole's powers could and would be used by a regular bystander and how his powers could help him or even weaken him......Prototype just looks sloppy.

Learn what racism is first. Racism is a mechanism to keep certain people in power (whites in usa). In other words only a person in power (whites usa) can be racist. Your welcome for getting schooled. infamous. its got the best scores between it and crackdown. i felt crackdown was overrated.

and im not going to comment on prototype because it hasnt been reviewed yet. but so far, it looks like an AA game on gamespot and AAA on IGN.

I got schooled?? the guy he is making fun of in his sig is not a white guy...but guys like him think its ok to make jokes that his side would deem racist but its okay to make fun of him because that black guy happens to be a republican
