imo these games are worlds apart and should not be compared. According to many people who've bought and played it Crackdown is an excellent game. I doubt the same is being said about Motorstorm.
I enjoyed Crackdown heavily and am still playing it regularly. Haven't played Motorstorm yet but i wasn't too fond of the demo. Just really was lacking IMO. I don't really know why the two are being compared (other than review score comparisons) seeing as they are two completely different genres.

I really REALLY think the word "flop" is being way over used here. A flop is a complete failure. neither crackdown, or motorstorm have failed in any way. Crackdown sold plenty of copies already, and I'm pretty sure Motorstorm will sell very well too. How can you tell if a game is going to flop just by a review? I refused to hype Motorstorm anyway, and I'm glad I did. I was personally hyping it high A - AA, so I wasn't really surprised at the score. *shrug*. But either way, I'm still getting it. the demo is REALLY fun, and i'm sure the game will be no different. :)

End of story. Fxd Good lord....you've been told the definition of flop a few times already. Flop = A game that gets a lower score then it was hyped for. Crackdown was hyped AA but it scored an A. Same with Motorstorm, both flops. Sales mean nothing. Now, what you're arguing over is a financial success. I'm pretty sure Crackdown is (Halo 3 beta helped :roll: ) is a huge success so far but we don't know how Motorstorm will do. Either way your whole thread fails. It fails so much you spent five minutes of your life failing to discredit it.

Alright, that's your opinion. I'm glad you have one. What I was correcting is the fact that you don't think CD flopped. It did, get over it. I have to get over the fact that Motorstorm flopped......alright, done. If it makes you feel better I will accept that according to GS CD is a flop. But according to me it's several leagues above Motorstorm and there's nothing anyone can do about it. And this means what? I think Resistance is better then Gears but does that mean anything? Nope. Quit making threads based on opinions as if they are facts. It makes you look bad. This is called SW. Here people get to compare. I'm making comparisons. If you don't like them then stay out of my threads. What comparisons? If the PS3 had the most beautiful game on the planet you'd probably bust out with something like "But, but, but, Crackdown is better because it's on the 360 which I love! I also love to troll!!!" You're wasting time. Bring me some images of Motorstorm so that we can all have a good laugh. Gamespot has tons of images of MotorStorm and of Crackdown. Check them out yourself. Btw, check out the reviews for both games while you're at it. You'll notice that MS got a 9 for gfx and Crackdown = an 8. IGN gave MS a 9 in the gfx department also while Crackdown got a 7. Pwned???

Go now troll! you cant base anything on that graphics number, if that were the case then you could say games like ocarina of time for the n64 has better graphics than almost every other game. of course its not true
