Criminally Underrated Games from this Generation?

Any games you liked a lot but scored way lower than they should have?

Call of Juarez - Bound in Blood

Brothers in Arms - Hell's Highway

Both these FPS imo excel above many ofthe so called "best" because they have good story, interesting characters, well written dialogue and just overall good gameplay/graphics for an FPS.

I would pick these over MW2, Killzone 2, Halo 3 etc any day.

Ratchet and Clank: Crack in Time.. imo it should be AAAE 9.5

True I was thinking more under appreciated, hmm as for underrated I think I could go with X-men origins wolverine.

R&C ACiT really should've been a 9.0. Also the attention it got did not match the quality of the game.

Edit: guy after you guys said crack in time also, I quit. Apparently no one plays games that aren't AA. Sad. I'm not talking about the Zelda: TP .1 point difference, etc. but huge values. Something that might confuse someone between whether it is a quality game or not.

OK how about.

Stalker - Clear Sky - 7.0

Kane & Lynch - 6.0 - I know everyone hates on this game for "that reason" but it wasn't that bad at all, the last few levels weren't great but the rest was quite solid. I'm looking forward to the sequel.

Shadowgrounds 6.9 - Old school type top down shooter, amazing graphics and physics, fun gameplay, cheap, AAAE if you ask me, same dev made Trine.

The first three games I mentioned were all well received critically but not so well commercially. Opoona got mixed critical reviews and abysmal sales, but I absolutely loved it.

The story went Jeff Gerstmann was sacked because he gave it a 6.0 and Eidos were spending alot on advertising at Gamespot and forced them to do it, none of it is proven or anything, and who cares we got Giant Bomb because of it so its all good.

But people seem to throw hate on Kane & Lynch for this reason without ever playing it. Sure it had its flaws, but it's not as bad as people like to make out.

Both S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games deserved better IMO. :)

all of those games are bad except lost odyssey. old school turn-based RPG, which i loved.

i agree that R&C: acit should at least got 9.0, R&C: tod should at least got 8.5 and uncharted should got 8.5

Sonic unleashed deserves AA and it got 3.5...other than that it...nothing really...all games got +/- 3 points than i predicted.awdxfv

Well I might as well just say it....Shattered Horizon, It got (7.5)...

From the GS review:

I'm rather confused by the Super Metroid review for the Virtual Console. The game scored 8.5, but all the review did was praise it. Personally, I think Super Metroid is AAAA material (or at least 9.5).

By GS? I'd go with Ratchet Tools as well as Fire Embleme Radiant Dawnand Uncharted 1.

Overall? Lost lost odyssey and Folklore. Both were amazing games..
