That would be cool to be able to play somone in a FF game from my 360 with people from the PS3.
I hope this happens.

I think this was posted already.
But yea it would be cool indeed, it would be really amusing to watch fanboys from different consoles staring at each other lol. I think FF XI was crossplat. too.
u can right now
ffXI from ps2 can be played in the ps3, and the PC x360 and ps2 servers are connected
pretty cool huh

Not as interesting to see the game being crossplat. between Wii 360 and PS3 and PC at the same time. I mean a trully next gen FF.

Gah, I couldn't stand FFXI. That game is so poorly designed and archaic it's insane. I would like to know who at SE thought it would be a good idea to base the game around spawn timers.

wel its not perfect, and the spawn timers are to prevent campers, still i liked the "realtime-turnbased" combat

Without bringing FF13 to 360, they will sell excactly zero copies of any other of their games, happened with FF11

Incorrect, spawn timers provoked campers to the point where they controlled the economy, making FFXI a RMT hellhole for several years. As for the combat, it simply felt too slow and inconsistent IMO.
**Edited just in case of backlash.**

oh i meant the other timers, they were implemented to the game some weeks ago, prevent campers/hackers to keep killing the same thing without doing something else ( talking etc), as for the battle style, its just a matter of opinion
