Dude i'm not questioning anything about the engine. What are you going on about it for? Plus most engines are designed around scalability, which I believe Cryengine 3 is. It's been coded to work with consoles, but it will probably be able to scale much higher for use with PC's.

I see what you're saying but it seems to me that they haven't bothered with new features and that Cryengine 3 is basically a new version of 2 that also runs on consoles

Crytek makes thier engines scalable, unless they rewrote from the ground up for consoles it'll do everything CryEngine 2 can do

nah it's no probs, my bad aswell, as my statement didn't make much sense. I comletely believed it, and wasn't surprised at all. Hopefully some real good will come of this engine. Hopefully it's also been reworked to run a little easier with upcoming games
When they show the PC version of CE3 we'll see. It will look far far superior to the other platforms versions. Until then, CryEngine 2 looks better. The console iterations of Cry Engine 3 definitely do not look as good as Cry Engine 2.
