I mean seriously that looks amazing. I am stunned at how good Crytek is at doing what they do. They just set the bar on what can be done on consoles. Uncharted and KZ2 best watch out.

Hypocrites, they had no idea what they were arguing against in all those threads if they think what is mostly below medium settings looks incredible.

I'm not one for using off screen shots, but based on previous responses people don't like the old direct feed pic; so the latest camera recorded one will have to do.

Things to note in the console shot are reduced grass coverage, the lack of LOD trees in the distance and on the mountain, the mountain is lower polygon, the console version uses a textured sky rather than volumetric clouds and so on.

Console version is effectively high shaders and post processing and medium/low everything else.

Wow, that game looks hard to even run on my pc, yet here is ps3 running it. I guess I don't have to worry so much now, at least, hoping cryengine 3 doesn't run like cryengine 2 does on my pc still even after it being rendered on consoles.
