Most PC gamers consider Crysis 2 a failure (on varying levels).
Apparently so do console gamers:
Crysis2(360)

2 87,937 N/A 82,313 170,250 541,963

Crysis2(PS3)

Homefront outsold Crysis 2.
My "console gamer buddy" who was incredibly hyped for Crysis 2 told me it "sucked" though it was "entertaining for awhile".
A few other hilarious decision by Crytek:
New engine that is supposed to "wow" us - release the proto-game on console? LOL
New multiplayer - CoD clone LOL
New game design - linear LOL
Console gamers only knew of Crysis because of PC gamers, Crytek basically told PC-gamers "cheerio-twas-good-while-it-lasted" and made a console-game-clone.
Result: Homefront outsold Crysis 2, PC gamers now laugh at Crytek, console gamers will likely only rent Crysis 3 (if it happens) and Crytek will be looked at skeptically (at least by the PC community)
Personally, I have to laugh at Crytek for their awful decision making. For further evidence of this supposition head to incrysis for some lolz.
