Crysis 2 better looking on PS3 then 360

Also on topic, this vid just proves both version will look and perform the same apart the fact that water looks clearly superior on 360.

Well it's not going to mean much if you're guaranteed gold, silver or bronze no matter what. There are only three systems which will get this game.

Or I could grab the link straight from the horses mouth. They both perform at a similar clip. 360 is a little better in shader heavy situations, and the ps3 in physics situations.

UC2/KZ2/GoW3, yes, those are the beasts. MGS4? It's not ugly but it defeniantly isn't a graphics prince.

Well, for MGS4, the technical graphics were immense, just switch to night vision and move the camera, looks so real.

Having 2 or 3 games that look better doesnt mean its more powerfull. Gears2, ME2 and a few other multiplats look pretty close and we all know they use a multiplat engine. Also i have been reading in previews that Alan Wake looks at least as good as those games and Reach will have some impressive technical numbers.

Honestly, if true, it would be the first time a more powerfull console only show its superiority in 2 games of a lineup of hundreds...

Sorry but saying that only a fanboy would deny it, is not an opinion. And no, its not clear at all. Clear is that Snes >>> Megadrive and Xbox > Gamecube > PS2. PS3 and 360 have been proving dozens/hundreds of times they are about equal

The PS3 is more powerful its pretty obvious at this point, if its a multiplat engine that is supposed to take advanatge of the hardware then the PS3 version should look better then its 360 counterpart.

Well, recording off-screen can only do so much to an image and I doubt the camera only"messedup" one half of the screen. Though, of course we'll have to wait until they're both out to be sure which snags second place :P

It beat farcry two and didn't mirror's edge come out that year too, also it beat crysis warhead, that is bull. MGS4 was overrated, atleast graphically.

The PS3 and 360 are rivals, and almost identical in technical prowess. Discussing the superiority of one above the other is significantly more relevant or fun on gaming forums like SW, than one lining 'PC version is tha best'. Yes HD twins are fighting for second place, in sales and in graphics, but guess what: no one talks about the Wii and PC...System wars should be called 360/PS3 wars.

theres a video on youtube of a developer talking specifically about how theyre able to push the PS3 version forward with the PS3s hardware. he says nothing about the 360 version while going on about the PC version.

the way he said it seems like hes saying the team was able to do some amazing things on the PS3 that they couldnt do on the 360.
