Crysis 2 GC X360 Gameplay walkthrough, 360 graphics king fosho!

Looks consolized. There was nothing in that entire video that looked interesting or individual to the game. A sequence like that could have been in one of many games already released. Boring gray walls, pillars, glass. Ugh, We have seen all of this before in so many games. The original Crysis had interesting and memorable envrionments and atmosphere, but this game just looks like a lame corridor shooter.

I am not impressed with crysis 2. Guess I dont care for the NY setting and it just looks like another FPS to me, Im sure i will buy it, but I am looking more forward to rage.

Reach looks considerably better to me.

Alrighty then, it seems that we are about to have a new "console" graphix king. As of now there are two contenders fighting for the top spot, Rage and Crysis 2. Both games received awards for best technical graphics at this years E3. KZ3 won nothing, so much for it being a contender. So Rage or Crysis 2 take your pick.

Dude you used the exact same argument as you did when I attacked Crysis last time. Dont let the score confuse you. Play it and without thinking of the score and make your own judgement. Scores arent always realistic.

Crysis is all graphics and environment. No gameplay.

You call that high framerate? Look's like Crysis in the mid 20'ies smoothed out with it's excellent motion blur .

I also find the game slightly chuggy which leads me to believe that it just might be V-Synced to 30 fps while dipping a bit below.

And while I can see the tech is better, modded Crysis (CCC level 5, 1080p, no AA) still looks prettier and seems to run quite similarly to what my rig get's out of Crysis when things get hairy.

Not bad for a console but not really impressive if you're a somewhat highend Crysis 1 fan.

Yeah I was just playing Crysis and people that claim the graphics are good but not what people make them out to be need to play the entire game on the best settings. Some parts are damn near photo realistic like 98%.

I was in the section at the end of Recovery, moving down the river where there's KPA on both sides and when all hell broke loose and we got to fighting, me and 20-30 KPA with particles and battle dust everywhere with light beams coming through the trees penetrating the dust as I waded knee deep through that river...just damn. I took it all in. It is the type of thing you want to show people. The water, the lighting, the scenery, all at a high resolution 16x10 with the natural mod...it was just perfect.

Reach looks considerably better to me.
