Graphics may be worse, but the rest is better than the first 2 "tech demos..... I mean games. millerlight89
I agree. Graphics may be a little worse but it's still one of the ebst looking game and most importantly, Crysis 2 beatsCrysis in the gameplay department and performance. Overall I think Crysis 2 is a better game than Crysis.

... perhaps you're forgetting the DX11 patch coming out for the PC version. Do you think nothing will change with that patch except the version of DX it uses? Lol... PC is about ti have its graphics king pumped up.
Phazevariance
A games visuals can only be as good as its foundations allow, and Crysis 2 has console textures as its foundations. As blurry as the game is, it isn't blurry enough to hide those.
I doubt they can add anything noteworthy in DX11, it will be barely noticeable and (knowing patched in effects) will cripple your performance for the privilege.

I believe they may use a new texture rendering method with tessellations instead of POM with DX11.

I went back to play Crysis 1 and it felt like I was playing playing Killzone 2 with a keyboard. Of course this is system wars where only graphics and exclusivity matter.

I tried to go back and play Crysis again, not that I was the biggest fan before, but it felt even more dull than it originally did. I've tried so hard to really get into the first Crysis. I've reinstalled it multiple times to try and play through different ways to see if that was my problem, but I end up uninstalling within an hour.[QUOTE="millerlight89"]Graphics may be worse, but the rest is better than the first 2 "tech demos..... Crysis 1 is extremely fun on the hard and delta difficutlies, any lower and it's kind of pointless. Hard and Delta force you to use your suit much more.
Once I got used to the gameplayin Crysis 2, normal is way to easy for me. You have to mix it up a bit more with your suit, but overall I am running and gunning my way through it. I'll have to pump the difficulty up a bit.
Overall Crysis 2 is far better paced and has better shooting mechanics. I wish the levels were a bit more open ended, but they do provide plenty of gameplay options to set it apart from other linear shooters. The level's are much shorter but there are more of then and they are more action packed. However I can still stealth around pretty effectivly and get good angles on my enemies. Overall it's a lot of fun.

Yea I agree Crysis is much better on Delta, but idk, it still just never drew me in. I just couldn't connect with the game on any level :(. Crysis 2 I was hooked within 2 hours or so. I recommend you try Post Human, it gets pretty damn intense... well with the aliens. The CELL is still pretty laughable.I believe they may use a new texture rendering method with tessellations instead of POM with DX11.

All the tessellation in the world isn't going to improve texture quality. It is for that reason, that I know you're joking.

Oh yeah! The performance is sick. I love it.360 dominance over the PS3 Did you not see the irony in that ? :lol:Eh Never cared for crysis 2 I only ever used it as fodder for 360 dominance over the ps3.
