fair point. either way, that footage looks infinitely better than anything else on the market right now or in the foreseeable future. killzone 3, crysis 1 and uncharted 3 included.

I will wait to play the game before I judge it, but it does look beautiful and among the best no doubt. That said Uncharted 3 isnt out yet (although PC crysis 2 will beat it) and another contender is PC battlefield 3 :). My most anticipated game right now.

fair point, and yeah, battle field 3 is going to be dx11 heavy i hear. which is awesome. could be incredible looking, im sure its going to play incredibly

Been playing the single player demo off PSN (PS+) and I really like it... very solid. Voice Acting is a little average, but gameplay is solid.

i wasnt aware of the single player demo on psn.... i sense a troll.

I had not heard of it either. Too bad (if its real) I don't have a PSN+ account :P.

Crytek or noone else has ever mentioned it and there is no other evidence to support there being one, so i doubt there is.

And just for the fact that it can run at a higher resolution with higher texture resolution, higher shadow detail, better lighting effects, and all the gimped stuff consoles prevent will be on the PC only. definitive and best version by WAY more than a long shot.

it will probably sell more. but i have no doubt that the pc version will be the highest scoring.

Agreed. To think that Crysis scored 9.5 with an awesome SP + a rubbish multiplayer, I'll be surprised if Crysis 2 doesn't get another 9.5

Agree with this 100%. Environment is everything too.

Yeah, this is kind of unrelated, but I remember playing through the last level of Halo Reach on Legendary and just thinking, wow.... this game has such a cool setting. Crysis 1 had a really cool jungle style setting and Crysis 2 looks just as good as both of these combined !! ;)

I was actually really interested by that aspect. and it's a double edged sword i think. It may work out in the end, but i can imagine incredibly unbalanced matches with super super-powered soldiers beating the snot of the new guys.
