Loookin good although i think its older(but newer than gamescom) than the sp one from Eurogamer Expo since there is no object motion blur.

BTW. i dont think we should really judge graphics from a bit low quality and blurry of screen video :P

Looks ok. I was expecting something graphically better, considering people were hypeing this game console graphics king, but the footage for Killzone 3 still looks a lot better, at least for me.

As far as gameplay is concerned, it looks like it has CoD's gunplay (not to say that's bad), with some really cool abilities put in. Should make for a decent online community.

The animations look horrible. It's not running but sweeping fast across the floor. Well thanks a lot 360 for consolizing this potentially great game.

The animations look horrible. It's not running but sweeping fast across the floor. Well thanks a lot 360 for consolizing this potentially great game.

It's on PS3 a well. And I wouldn't blame consoles so much as I'd blame Crytek for making this choice with their game. A console is just a platform to run a game, developers are the people who make them.

This game has console'd written all over it. MFDOOM1983
Seems like it has taken the Call of Duty route as opposed to Crysis Wars being more like Battlefield. I hate CoD so Crysis 2's MP looks absolutely terrible to me.

i couldnt shoot while i was falling..plus after u land on the ground there's acouple seconds delay before u can shoot again. no shooting while jumping seriously does unbalance the game just like no sprinting while shooting unbalance's games.

Killzone 2 is considered one of the most balanced multiplayer games with gen....not sure were you're coming from.

Also, not being able to jump/shoot = inbalanced? Seems more like you just sucked hard at the game. Jump/shoot is one of the worst things in shooters, and I'm glad to see it slowly die out. Not sure why people would want to play a game where everyone is hopping around like rabbits like it takes skill to do...

I see your point but I disagree. Crytek saw the money going into the console business, to be precise...the money wasting by console gamers and naturally had to move up on that. And you'll have to accomodate the lowest common denominator (360) and make the graphics/performance superior on the PC. But what you get is gimped gameplay because the consoles can't handle it. Consoles are holding back games originally designed for PC. (Alan Wake Sub-HD, Transformers capped @ 30 FPS, now Crysis 2...) And guess which console has the most PC/console multi-plats? Name some games that are PS3 and PC only...yeah those are rare.

call of duty 2 was actually the last balanced cod game, because there was no sprint everyone can shoot anytime. when they added sprint in part 4 you cant shoot and it leaves you open to attack from people who arent sprinting.

I dunno man ... If i was wearing all that gear and holding a fun i doubt it'd be able to shoot with pin point accuracy (or at all) after jumping ...

Also, running AND shooting an assult rifle? Almost as stupid as shooting in midair.

Recoil is a big issue here

i seen a guy on the ground dude, and i jumped down to kill them...if i could of jumped and shoot i could of shot person while i was fallling, plus after i landed i still couldnt shoot and it caused me to die...i should have got that kill but all because of no jumping and shooting unbalanced the game.

Looks better than KZ3.Tessellation

Judging from this early,not yet completed and blurry video IMO yes.KZ3 was major let down when i saw it yesterday(graphics related).It looks crisper and more polished than KZ2 but with no post processing it looks kinda like Call of Duty.

The assult class? Wow

Spawn Killing? Wow

How long it takes you to unclock a class? Leaves the opponent with a huge advantage. How long did it take YOU to unlock the sniper rifle?

developers need to add sprinting+shooting let you do it sametime. im sick of developers following same trend not letting you shoot while sprinting. that completely unbalance's games, because ur open to attack from people who arent sprinting.

Once again, it's ALL the developers fault. You don't blame CD players because a band finally made it big by sellout out to the general public: you blame the band. It's 150% Crytek's fault the game is as it is. Sure, they probably lowered the quality of the game to fit it on consoles, but who decided to make a console port in the first place? Wasn't a plastic piece of hardware, that's for sure.

I dont understand that....why does every game with a sprint button not let you shoot ur gun while sprinting? someone need's to change it up let you shoot while sprinting. The climb feature is pretty cool though in crysis 2.

Took me a weekend to get all the classes unlocked. Assault class can be overpowered when everyone spawns as them, but headshots = 1 hit kill for EVERY weapon, and players can lock out classes/abilities (which the Assault is almost always locked out). The fact that the game can be filtered by classes/weapons alone makes it pretty balanced in the most part.

As for Spawn killing, there's a reason we have a class that can deploy spawn points. It's not the game's fault if there are people who throw the spawn point in the middle of an open field :P

OMG! What a pile of crap...I for one didn't love Crysis and warhead for its graphics because the game was great. Everything i saw from that video looked dumbed down from the 1st crysis. And no im not blaming consoles on the gameplay part anyway crytek you fail!

It looks OK. Graphics are impressive of course, but I'm not interested in the MP component, mostly the SP. I'll be playing KZ3 and SOCOM 4 around the time this comes out. I wanna play Gears 3 online bad, but you know, XBL "Not Free"...

Edit: And also note folks, that Crytek (Germany) didn't make the MP, but rather Crytek UK (previously known as Free Radical!).

LOL that's funny every shooter with a sprint button doesnt let you shoot your gun while sprinting. What they should do is let you shoot while sprinting..but the accuracy is alittle less accurate than hip firing. This would help to balance the games better and break away from this silly cliche. THIS NEED'S ADDRESSING^

Seriously though, Killzone =/= Quake. And shooting someone when you see them =/= camping, it's common freakin' sense. Don't blame Killzone because you wanted to play Quake, but turned on Killzone instead.

the person ran into hallway...but ran back out when i jumped down actually no jumping and shooting sametime=unbalanced. no sprinting and shooting sametime=unbalanced. i played shooters all my life since they started trust me it's unbalanced.

When I first got KZ2 it took me a solid 4 days to unlock all the classes. Since i made a new account it took me about 2 weeks to get just the medic class

LOL that's funny every shooter with a sprint button doesnt let you shoot your gun while sprinting. What they should do is let you shoot while sprinting..but the accuracy is alittle less accurate than hip firing. This would help to balance the games better and break away from this silly cliche. I'm not sure if I want to shoot while sprinting, but reloading while sprinting is great! The only game that comes to mind which allows it is KZ2. I think there's another that's slipping my mind...

sprinting while shooting should be in games, it's common sense you can still shoot in real life while sprinting...just less accurate than walking and hipfiring.

Seriously though, Killzone =/= Quake. And shooting someone when you see them =/= camping, it's common freakin' sense. Don't blame Killzone because you wanted to play Quake, but turned on Killzone instead.

the person ran into hallway...but ran back out when i jumped down actually no jumping and shooting sametime=unbalanced. no sprinting and shooting sametime=unbalanced. i played shooters all my life since they started trust me it's unbalanced.

No one cares about your pedigree in FPS gaming. Fact of the matter is this: A game does not need to be like Quake to be balanced. Just because a game doesn't have what you PERSONALLY want it in, does not mean it's unbalanced. For someone who has had such "indepth" handling on FPS games, I would assume you'd know better then that.

Took me a weekend to get all the classes unlocked. Assault class can be overpowered when everyone spawns as them, but headshots = 1 hit kill for EVERY weapon, and players can lock out classes/abilities (which the Assault is almost always locked out). The fact that the game can be filtered by classes/weapons alone makes it pretty balanced in the most part.

As for Spawn killing, there's a reason we have a class that can deploy spawn points. It's not the game's fault if there are people who throw the spawn point in the middle of an open field :P

When I first got KZ2 it took me a solid 4 days to unlock all the classes. Since i made a new account it took me about 2 weeks to get just the medic class

Some players seem to be split on the unlock system in KZ2, but it always let you filter your rank (thank goodness for custom server listings too! They better keep it in KZ3). Currently, they're a lot of hardcore players in the community, meaning most of them are higher ranked, but its surprising how many noobs / low levels I see playing :P.

Good thing they're changing the unlock system in KZ3 though. Every career is available from the start, you just have to gain unlock points to purchase your upgrades.

As for spawn grenades, they're changing it up a bit. Tacticians no longer have the ability to place a spawn grenade anywhere they want, but they're the only cIass that can activate predetermined spawn nodes around the maps. I think that's even better considering the tug of war battles that tacticians can now have with one another :P.

Edit: OMG, why are we talking about Killzone? Let's talk about Crysis 2!

shooting/reloading while sprinting would evolve these games damn it. What you want to stop evolution?

sprinting while shooting should be in games, it's common sense you can still shoot in real life while sprinting...just less accurate than walking and hipfiring.

Yeah, it's possible to shoot whilst sprinting, but it's not very practical. I'm not sure if it's a problem either way, but maybe it would be nice for at least one game to allow it huh?

it's unbalanced because i should have got that kill, but the game wouldnt let me shoot and i had my crosshair on them.
