I just played the beta a bit. It is suprisingly fun.
All of the original armor abilities are there but are much easier to combo now. For instance every time you jump you do a power jump. So lets say you do a sprint into a power jump... so much easier to pull off. Armor mode also can be comboed with the other modes to really make you a god on the battlefield.
The gunplay was tight as were the controls. The production values were outstanding. The audio was excellent.
The graphcis are actually quite good for a console game. Make no mistake though, every footage you have seen prior to this beta has been on a PC. The framerate is aweful, the AF is non-existant as with any AA. There was some also massive texture pop-in problems. However there is some good through the muck. There are a lot of sweet visual effects going on, tons of dynamic shadows, and the foilage is always waving in the wind and the shadows are ever chaning. A lot of the little effects that Crysis had that made it so damn pretty are here.
The version to get will be the PC version. I cannot wait to see these stuff in DX11.
Overall I had fun. It's nothing special, but has some serious potential. The smaller matches really put the focus on the gunplay. Let's just hope on the PC we can get some bigger maps.
