Crysis 2 to be Supior on PS3 (Link)

Now before I start this thread, I know hermits will be like "teh PC ftw!" no **** sherlock everyone know PC is has the best perfoming system.

Anyways according to Gary Steinman, they will take full advantage of the PS3s hardware (even more so than U2) and said

"But that's not the only reason I put Crysis 2 on the cover. A few months back, an old friend at EA snuck in to PTOM towers and showed me top-secret footage of the game in action. It was stunning – better looking than almost anything I've ever seen on PS3. and here's the best part: All the glorious wreckage, the metropolitan carnage, the dynamic lighting and the realtime destruction, was generated not on a PC, nor an Xbox, but PS3."

No, it means that the version he saw of the game was running on the PS3 and it looked good. It doesn't say anywhere that it is superior, rather, that it was running on the PS3 and it was better than anything he had seen on the PS3.

Well, he doesn't really say the PS3 version "looks better" than the 360 version. Just that the build he was watching was the PS3 version. ANd that it looked sick. Right?

Either way, I expect this game to be a visual marvel on each system :D. It def. has the potential (and talent behind it) to be the best looking game on consoles.

I wouldn't really call New York a bland city with nothing interesting to see. There is plenty of cool places they can show us, and there is going to be areas of the city that are destroyed.

nyc is far from a boring place, but it has that ,been there, done that, kinda feeling to it.... i expected more from crysis

I'm just saying what every PS3 owner has known since the past couple years (and that this thread proves) that the PS3 is capable of producing MUCH better graphics than 360. Thank god the silence of the lems has finally begun!

As someone else said, this isn't Crysis 2, this is a Cryengine 3 tech demo from well over a year ago.

Lol, the youtube video does clearly state PS3 and 360, and on top of that, isn't that just the CryEngine 3 tech demo? Meaning, TC, that it isn't gameplay from Crysis 2.

Darn it TC. Why do ya gotta get me all excited like that? For a second there I thought that the "Silence of the Lems" was truely upon us! Ohwell. It will happen soon enough (already happend with Uncharted 2, in my opinion).
