Crysis 2 will also get overshadowed by games like AC: Brotherhood, CoD Black Ops, Fable 3, GT5 and of course Halo Reach.

Crysis 1 on the PC sold about 4 mill.... so make what you will of that but keep in mind it will be on 2 more platforms this time.

You need a source? Its common sense...Halo isTHE biggest (exclusive) FPS on the consoles and CoD is the only FPS thats bigger than Halo but thats a multiplatform. Crysis isn't a very big brand name.

Wii Play is a game, as it contains mini- and party-games within it.

It will probably sell more than Halo, and definitely sell more than Crysis 2.

You don't want to admit that it's the same kind of product as others, but it's still a game.

Why is it doubtful?

I mean alot of people who didn't have a gaming PC couldn't play it and want to play it so they"ll get Crysis 2.

They will advertise this all over New York, in movie theatres, and around the world.

EA said they want this to be there Halo so you can expect them to go all out.

I doubt Crysis will OUTSELL Halo Reach. For it to OUTSELL Halo Reach, it would have to have the popularity that Halo does. It does not. OUTSELLING Halo Reach will be tough for sure, as OUTSELLING Halo Reach would require a larger fanbase from which SALES could be acquired..

Even if Crysis 2 is considered the greatest game of all time and Halo Reach is considered a disappointment, I somehow doubt it considering how muhc impact name brand and marketing can have. Halo is much more well known and is marketed furiously, with Halo 3 having its name on everything from Mountain Dew to... well, Mountain Dew.

Think about it, somehow Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen made a huge amount of money despite being steaming garbage, and yet considerably better and equal type summer action films like The Incredible Hulk (not bad, but not great) make way less even with similarly good marketing. Don't forget how well the CoD series sells despite Call of Duty 4 having been the definitive high point for most, its the name brand of all the CoD games and the marketing behind it. Not saying MW2 is bad, but other, better multiplats like Bioshock or The Orange Box haven't sold nearly as much.

Just goes to show that quality does not equal sales, so don't take it hard if Halo: Reach sells more than Crysis 2 even if you consider Crysis 2 definitively better.

Lets get down and dirty with the real numbers shall we?

Halo 2 sold 2.4 million copies, day one($120 million). Halo 3 sold roughly 3.3 million copies, day one($170 million). And ODST sold around 2 million copies day one.

And the 360 has a much larger install base then it did back in 2007.
