This game is just going to be sooooo amazing. How could people even be thinking about Halo 4 and Black Ops 2 with a sexy beast like this on it's way?

Bow's make far more sense from a stealth standpoint, everytime theres been some form of railgun in a game its either noisy and big, or most of the time both.

Well, either way, lets note the fact that you wear an alien derived semi-organic nanosuit and acknowledge that a bow seems kind of like an "we couldn't think of anything cool" route for a stealth weapon.

Make up a pretend stealth railgun.

Why does it need a gun? A bow is at least different from most of today's shooters. It's like Turok all over again!

Maybe I'm just biased towards bows. I usually play as archer/ranger types in my RPGs afterall. Bows are the beez-neez.

My local hunting show sells bows with scopes and laser sights.....seems to fit right in with the suit. Cloak, poison arrow, easy kill. or load up explosive arrows. I can think of a million situations I'd rather use a bow than a gun

Edit: I don't care if there's a bow in the game. It's how Crysis 2 turned out that worries me.

but still you don't see the use when he has a super suit? Super strength to make the bow fire harder and fast, super speed to load and reload the bow fast (If they allow it to more than sprinting this time) and cloak mode is the bows best friend. It won't make you pop out of cloak mode so fast. It's a very quiet weapon.

Although looking at it against the ceph even with explosive arrows seesm silly to me cos a gun will be fast at dealing with them up close. But against normal guys the bow will be the perfect weapon

Honestly, a suppressed sniper rifle, that fires just below supersonic speeds, makes more sense. Higher accuracy and the best power/stealth ratio achievable, not to mention much higher ammo capacity.

Though there's no question that crysis3 will be throned as graphic king whenever it come out as crysis and crysis2 did, but everything from that trailer was pre-rendered sence just as cryiss1 and crysis2's opening sence, I'm waiting on the real time footage.

They need to bring back the suit from Crysis 1.....speed mode....pull back those bow strings like a boss :lol:

Well the point of a crossbow is that it can have a resistance that no man could pull back. A nanosuit would allow a bow to fire at ungodly high velocities and force and is much quicker to reload. They are also extremely quiet compared to even a silenced rifle.

Why are people so hung up on the damn bow? It makes sense to me. When you factor in strength of the nanosuit, it makes the bow a perfect stealth weapon.

I had that vibe the whole time while playing Crysis 1, and it was awesome. Well atleast until you arrived on the boat, and then it devolved into "hey b*tch, i need you to go below and fetch me my shoes" or whatever the hell they were bossing me around about.

A guy in a nano suit could pull back a bow with hundreds of pounds of resistance. The ultimate stealth weapon. Firing a heavy projectile compared to some weak ass 9mm.

Also the physics seem to be improved because the chandelier is moving from the blow back of the ship. Or maybe something else, but that's pretty cool. Also the Bow looks badass in action there, he holds it Ghetto style like sneaking in Skyrim :P

I honestly don't think it will even push systems to their breaking point. CE3 is a very different engine to what it was when they made Crysis 2. Far more streamlined and optimised with Dx11 in it already now, even in the free SDK you have Dx11.

I'd say it will push certain systems from right now but nothing over the top OMG impossible

Bow and arrow looks out of place.

On the other hand, it could be interesting to see what they do with it. Multi-target locking with multiple arrows or maximum strength,send your enemies flying.

Stuff like that.
