Mods are the best thing about PC games, the only reason people even pick up the PC versions anymore as well.

Lately the difference hasn't been that great but innot too long the difference will become more noticable. But you are right, mods are a HUGE factor. And with over 60 mod teams(66 have registered on Crymod.... hundreds more didn'tbother registering)already working on Crysis mods, the mods will add thousands of hours of gameplay. Obsidian Edge II(Realistic Military Mod), Stepping Stones(Realistic Military Mod), 28 Months Later(28 Days Later mod), Mechwarrior: Living Legends(Mechwarrior), and Crybusters(Ghostbusters mod) are really major mods though.... Nuclear Crysis could end up really good too...

I don't know about the the controls being more natrual and respinsive, but more precise as in the mouse is a fact. Also the right analog stick pwns the keyboard for player movement imo

Indeed, PC's have much higher system specs but the output is not nearly as dramatic, or even noticeable. It was in the 90's, however, much better for PC Gamers wanting something better than the consoles.

just give it up hermits, crysis is overrated and you know it. It is struggling right now to keep above 90% on gamerankings, which is not impressive at all for what is supposed to be the greatest game of all time. There are loads of games out now that are better.

It's in ultra HD on computers, but yeah, I wish it were on consoles so I can play it on my TV without crappy framerate problems. *sigh* I really need to upgrade my computer.

I've found out that I'vebeen pretty much 90% (no pun intended) rightover the last years when it comes to GR score. In my eyes this is and always has been a 9/10 game and not a 9.5 title...

Crysis is asuperb game with awesome graphics, but not anmasterpiece with awesome style.

Seems about right. Being an avid PC gamer myself, it really seems to be more aesthetically pleasing than anything really groundbreaking. Sure you can cut down a swath of trees or mods your gun or change suit powers on the fly, but at the end of the day, those feel like novelties that wear off.

Good to see some more people who weren;t bought it out by the hype.

One of the games (franchise for that matter) I actually do disagree with...however I do think that the whole package with online co-op, points, forge and great multiplayer which in fact is one of the best a console has to offer makes the game great I don't think it's even close to the praise it has gotten.

Crysis is an amazing game and among the best this year, but as a hermit, I'll readily admit that it doesn't even take GotY, much less best-ever.
