Many people are afraid to say this cause, its "teh illegal to oppose Crysis" Sorry but I said it, this games artstyle and look surpasses Crysis in so many ways. Sure Crysis is pushing more polys because of scale, but GOW3 has better shading, effects, artstyle, detail, etc. Hermits will come and say no, and Lems will just agree with them cause they oppose PS3 anyway. Facts are facts regardless. People don't say GOW3 looks like a PS4 game for nothing.

you see the problem with art style is that it's all "preference". If you're going to compare GRAPHICS you've got to get technical otherwise don't even bother. Otherwise you going to get people saying WOW or Okami looks better than GOW3 as it has better art style.

Now in terms of technical prowess Crysis>GOW3, there for I must conclude

When it comes to graphics there isn't anything called "opinion". Sure, you may like the artstyle, or the design better in one game, but when it comes to the technical stuff, one game is superior. In this case (and all other cases to this day), that superior game is Crysis.

You're comparing art styles. Saying which art style is better is preference. I could easily say Windwaker's art style Okami's art style is better than God of War's art style because it uses cell shading better.

You say that so smugly as if PC has anything that looks as good as GOW3. GOW3 blows anything away on PC, there I said it. This is coming from someone with a gaming laptop and can run Crysis on Ultra settings.

It is much easier to make graphics king on a 3rd person button masher then a FPS.

jesus christ give up already yea it looks nice but consoles cant compete with 8 gigs of ram and quad sli of a pc and pc is always upgrading every 6 months while consoles are stuck at 1 level for 5 years

Here's Crysis running my PC. Take not this is not the best the game can look. Ther'es not even any AA on here. All that environment is 100% interactive. I can run through those trees in any direction. or I can cut them down with firepower. Now lets see "IN game" GOW3. No cut-scenes or anything like that.

Oh please... Uncharted 2 looks better than GOW 3 imo. Cows need to get their facts strait. Crysis is and always will be graphics king when we compare it to consoles. Looks like Cows are going to go through another graphics phase just like U2. :roll:

Why is it always someone with ~300 posts or less who posts these ridiculous "Crysis dethroned" threads? TC, have you even played the GOW demo? $100000 you havent even played Crysis.

No console game will ever look better than a recent PC game. It might look better because youre playing from your couch. If you hook up a PC and a console to the same TV and play from the SAME DISTANCE, there is no comparison.

i really dun care, i like looking at and GOW3 more than Crysis, regarding gameplay, there is nothing to be said here, Crysis is screwed (this is my opinion according to my gaming preferences) .

PS3 games look great, just like 360 ones and one generetion behind Crysis on a high end PC. This is a fact...not an opinion :?
