The TC's is wrong, but also, you are wrong. That isn't CGI, that's the games engine, but on replay modes it looks better.
TC, Crysis won't be dethroned by current gen consoles, so just give it up...I notice TC that you have 42 posts, are you serious about your threads?
Think about it, PC's are upgradable every year, Consoles are stuck in the past with 2005-2006 chipsets. It's not going to happen.

Can you guess where in this cycle we are now?And the circle completes, when they are done trying to one up the graphics they go after the game play instead.
Crysis reviews praised the game play in the game, which is much more dynamic and creative compared to the majority of scripted experiences out there. In order to criticise Crysis's game play you have to ignore all reviews and what it does in comparison to other FPS.
Honestly console users obsession with Crysis in SW is becoming tiring, they dedicate so much time and effort into attacking a 2007 game; then complain about hearing about it so much.

really? that looks more like a cgi, but it could be a replay as wellThe game doesn't have to use any resources for gameplay on replay modes (same for Forza), so we get prettier looking replays.

makes sencereally? that looks more like a cgi, but it could be a replay as wellshadow_hosiIt is not replay,is a bumped out pre rendered video using game assets, but it doesn't represent how the real game looks in game, because we have seen the game in motion and doesn't look like that.
No,and nice try TC but next time use real gameplay screenshots,we all know how GT5 looksYou know, I enjoy and like the GT games way more than Forza but in terms of graphics, I really hate the style GT games always have. They have this dark, rough grittiness to them. But I also don't enjoy Forza's over the top round and shiny style either.Pre-rendered screenshots are the representation of what the IN GAME engine can do,you can argue all you want ''using game assets'' but is still pre rendered and actual game doesn't look like that.Tessellation
Car graphics? Seriously? Thats hardly anything to brag about.
Almost all the resources go physics, AI and deformation. Heck, the actual textures and metal surfaces on the exterior consume less processing power than the interiors.
Call me when a racing game looks this good while still having to process firefights, explosions and massive interactive environments.
Can you guess where in this cycle we are now? Lol, Yeah, it's pretty much an endless cycle. And it will continue to repeat itself for generations to come, except with another game every gen.And the circle completes, when they are done trying to one up the graphics they go after the game play instead.

What mod is this??As I said some days ago, reach photorealism in games with not organic objects are much easier than with organic ones. But Crysis still tramples in both fields:

Blue-Sky
Damn!!!
That game looks to have some pretty HEAVY textures, and with a lot of things going on.
My PC is powerful but then I'm not so confident if it can run that at it's highest specs.
Why theres allways a thread about a PS3 exclusive (every single one) looking better than Crysis?????? this is so ridiculous its not even funny :?
PAL360
Because there are a lot of Cows that are disillusional and completely ignorant, they harp on about how powerful the PS3 yet completely discount how powerful a PC is a machine that is required to make those very same games and don't think that today's graphics cards are more powerful then the ones put in the PS3.
I wouldn't be surprised when the new Icore processors come out that they can mimmick "The Cell" and it's "Graphics" kings GPU.
It helps to have a bit more knowledge before "Crowning" a console to be graphics king over what PCs are capable of.

It's actually mostly Cows that do this harping on about Graphics king.
KZ2 vs Crisys,
Heavy Rain vs Crysis
The next thing you know- Dare I say
"PS3 vs PC, PS3 is more powerful: Proof PS3 so powerful it can launch Titan missiles to the moon!!!"
Power of "Teh Cell"
It's all marketing hype just like "The Emotion" engine.
