Crysis headed to Wii?

Dont be so naive. Think about it and stop being a fanboy. Far Cry was a cheap port of an old last gen game and was rushed for the holiday and was also done by a C level development team.

Crysis would be much more because its coming from a very next gen game and by a much better and more specialized development team. To top that off its not as rushed obviously if they are already planning the game.

Actually, Nintendo has confirmed a more powerful wii for the 'hardcore' gamers. They call it: WiiHD

It will have PC controls and obviously more of an artisitic look because the visuals will be far behind. it will be just as good if the devs know how to push the right buttons, which at the momement only a few devs do right for Wii. If crysis truly is coming to Wii then it will be the best FPS for the system.Cyber-

Take my adivice man, and go for the Wii version. The best with the Wiimote and Nunchuck. You'll have LOTS of fun.

The Wii's DX10 capabilities and it's Nvidia 8800 GT GPU's will easily handle this game on max settings.

But guys seriously, it's gonna either:
A. Be on ultra low settings with fog everywhere so the entire islands don't have to be rendered.
B. Gonna be completely different from the PC version (i.e. think of assassin's creed for DS)

Because there is no way a console with Xbox 1 graphics could render those open environments.

Then again if it does come out for wii to great reviews and gameplay it might pave a path for more hardcore games...

Yes Crysis is headed to the Wii and it supposedly has better graphics than the PC becuase the Wii was so much more easy to develop for.

I love how many graphics whores there are in this thread.

If you look at this logically your jokes and sarcastic comments are foolish. If Crysis goes to any console its dumbed down terribly from its prime PC condition. At least the Wii version with have bonuses never seen on 360 and PS3. It will not explode and it will not be .oo6 FPS it will obviously have a different look and yes its sad it cant look better. Again though it has advantages of its own. Also for the people who act as if Far Cry Vengeance is proof it will fail you make me laugh. If you cannot see the differences between Crytek and the F grade dev team assigned to crap out a quick and cheap port then I pray for you.

Definately, and it will run at a smooth 60 FPS with added AA.
