Milkage baby, thats all they are doing. I cant wait to see how the CryEngine runs on the next gen consoles. And i bet it wont even be the best looking engine on the consoles.

Killzone 2 isn't even out yet. And the last time people lusted after Killzones apparent visuals it turned out to be a CGI movie and the game was mediocre on release.

You don't need a $3000 PC to run any of the latest games - a $900 PC can run Crysis on High. And of course you can do more with the PC.

You talk about upgrades for the PC etc. This is true certainly. But in 4 years time when I will need to upgrade my PC you too will probably be inclined to buy a new console that will be released every few years. There is little difference.

Im happy with my PS3 and 360. Killzone 2 looks way better than crysis for a 600 dollar pc with blu ray. Gears of War holds its own for a 300 dollar pc. There are to many genres and exclusives on consoles that keep me entertained rather than splooging all over my 3000 dollar PC. And I do rather enjoy laying down or sitting comfortibly on my couch. Next Gen consoles have earn they're respect just like all the consoles in previous generations.dabigsiebowski

Crysis is a great game.... to play it on highest visual settings you require a great rig but its not just graphics its got a solid gameplay too..

I was really unipressed with graphics on crysis. My mate said that it was running everything on high. There was quite a few settings though, so maybe he hadn't optimised everything correctly?

It was in no way bad - I just didn't think it looked any better than say MGS4. That said, i'm not really one to pick a game apart graphically. I just play the thing and occassionly think "ooh that looks good" or "oooh that looks bad".

Switching the console for a PC was the only noteworthy progress I've made in my entire life.

I mean sure some of the things he is saying can be noted for fanboyish statements, but lets face it as fun as Crysis is you really need a good gaming rig to play it high settings. Not saying that the game is not fun, but it is geared a lot more for graphics than anything else and not playing it at high setting is just not right.

ya the graphics on crysis is amazing I wanted a gaming computer that can play any game on the highest setting so i went out and got one for $1200 :) my graphics card alone pwns faces lol. Nvidia gtx 260 896mb ddr3.

can anyone play crysis on the very high settings with no framerate drops? Thats how the game should be experienced and imo i think consoles this gen will not reach that level of graphics

Haze, Too Human before the games were realeased. teh graphics looked amazing, but under gameplay it jsut isnt the same and look at the reviews. People are boosting Killzone 2 and they havent even played the game. what if the game gets 6 out of 10. THere wont be alot f talk about this game anymore. they will moe on to the next game and and say just wait inutl it comes out.

PC's have about the same price to performance ratio as 360/Ps3 and can utilize that performance boost for much more than mere Video games.
