Crysis is ouT!!! Whats the point to have a ps3 or 360?

No they don't. I think it's your 360. I have both and they are rock steady at 30fps. :| Now go back to playing Crysis on medium settings at 35fps.

I will say it again, I have no interest in Crysis. I takes lower graphics with better artistic sense, anyday..

Crysis has amazing graphics, you can't argue with that, but it wasn't that great in terms of gameplay. It wasn't bad, but it's not great either. I could name a lot of games on the PC, PS3, or XBOX 360 I would enjoy more.bigrhyno

While I do agree that the second part of Crysis (the aliens) was kind of lackluster, the first part was easily the best fps experience I've ever had.

sadly my $800 7950GX2 that I purchased just a year ago barely runs it at medium

Ahhh, yes, I remember why i absolutly loathe PC gaming

We just got a new laptop, and I downloaded a game for it, which shall remain nameless

anyway, while installing the game, a window popped up saying there was an update for my system from microsoft that needed to be installed before I could continue, so I cancelled the install, and went to my windows update on the system, and there it was, the bringer of pain, a brand new update from Microsoft

Needless to say I downloaded the update, which promply crashed Windows Vista, it crashed so bad, I currently cannot install a driver for my integrated video card, THIS IS WHY PC GAMING SUCKS!!!!!, just a simple game, and all this misery, I have to wait for a fix from microsoft so I can actually play basic games again on my brand new PC, its totally pathetic.

I could not roll back the driver, and I had no way to take the system back to the original setup, it came with no disks, which is something new I guess

I'm sure in a week or so this will all be fixed, and life will go on, but in reality consoles do not have these types of issues whith them, I know laptops are not gaming computers, but this could happen at any time to any body, its the joy of a PC and all the pain that comes with it

I remember when "Rise of the Robots" came out against "SFighter" & "MKombat" and was one of the first amzing 3d looking beat-em ups and was absolutely pants. Graphics dont make a game they can help elevate it but thats it.

Secondly, I find it comical that every single thread you've made since the beginning of the time you registered your name is the exact same. "Crysis has the greatest graphics of any game yet."

The biggest issue I have with Crysis is that not even would a $4000-5000 custom gaming rig power the game on the highest possible settings with a steady 60FPS. I'll gladly pay my $350 to have a 360 that is going to last me at least another 3-4 years with every game coming out and not having to worry about upgrading.

No the thing is that you can buy the best parts for about 2000$ (big max), but people will have to get the gforce 9 series to play in completely maxed out at 60 fps. There is absolutely no use to buying a 4000$ computer right now. It will make no difference.

Even the reviews state they do - as do many players - so there goes your fanboyistic views.

And Crysis runs at 30fps+ on forced Very High..... Somthing that consoles will never match.

it looks great but i dont think the game so far of what ive played has been that good to be honest..

im up to the tank driving part..i expect it to get better but so far its nearly just been the same thing over and over..

there is no way you can say there is no need for consoles just becasue of one game and its visuals most people here cant even get the game looking good with a solid fps..
