Crysis looks great and all but seriously whos going to have a PC to run it?

 Theres been alot about Crysis lately and granted the game looks g8 but in all seriousness who is going to beable to run it on there system at max. What will a PC cost to run it smoothly with those pretty graphics ?

Probably $3000-$4000 AU  thats how much.

This is where Pcs always fail, id take a PS3 or Xbox360 over a PC anyday.... well nearly cause MS dont really know wat it takes to make reliable hardware so id probably choose the PS3. Wii ? i have my PS2.

I hav a 8800GTX, 2 gig OCZ , E6600.

Got a 1080p 40"" Samsung coming next week, im using it for my PC monitor. Crysis will look amazing

I can max out crysis................just not in DX10 mode loltheboxmike

I dont mean to pry and be a ATI fanboy...but you have played Crysis in DX10, maxxed? Dont assume a 8800GTX can max Crysis in DX10. For all you know you could have bought a second generation FX series card.

Oops, my bad.

I'll be playing it as maxed as possible on XP.

However, I have had trouble from ONE game that I couldn't run for shint : Gothic 3 :evil:

I don't know why, but after patching it and doing everything I could, that game wanted to run @ 6 fps.

Well, if some pcgamer lacks necessary hardware an upgrade will cost him about 700$ or less. Personaly I'm waiting till crysis and storm of war for my next upgrades and I suspect there's a lot of people like me. Plus..it's crytek, just look how great Far Cry ran on variety of machines, no reason to think crysis will be worseAdrianWerner
