Wow, people are abit moody here. :? From what I've seen of BF3, Crysis 1 still looks better. Lets hope a game in 2011 can beat a game from 2007 visually and technically. BF3 looks static compared to Crysis. PrettyHateMx

:PCan't really say yet, haven't looked that much at BF3. That being said, what I have seen looks amazing!

Here's what Crysis looked like when I loaded it up the other day. Still holding up quite well, although I need to get properly back into cfg tweaks.

Edit: And to Crysis players, yeah that's just the first camp. I went through the beginning a few times to ensure had'nt ruined anything and that Reli2 was properly uninstalled (should've just backed up the levels before installing a ToD) and at least I did'nt leave much behind once done :P

Editedit: And I think Crysis 1 is one of, if not the best SP fps this gen.

I think BF3 looks nicer already from what I have seen. I don't see why its so shocking to system wars that Crysis might be somebodies favourite game though :? I prefer Warhead but its still a pretty good game.

DICE said that they were trying to clean up the messy pipeline for frostbite 2.0 so they can have a possibility of releasing mod tools.

Why is his brother getting so much flak for saying that the orginal Crysis is the best game hes played? The game is a masterpiece and most certainly one of the best games i have played??? Only a handful of single player fps's can even compete with it!

BF3 wins with destruction. I let my older brother play Crysis with the RealLoaded mod (I edited some features like the modded stealth visuals), and I can honestly say I think Crysis 1 still looks better than BF3... Anyone else agree? PS. My older brother who's primarly a console gamer said Crysis is the best game he's ever played. 8)PrettyHateMx

Sounds like you never played Battlefield. Of course the player is driving the tank... You can drive a tank and get out and do what ever you want in every Battlefield game.

BTW MGS4, Ocarina of Time, Chrono Trigger, Shadow of the Colossus are all contenders as far as I'm concerned, all for different reasosn.

But still, BF3 graphics are overrated in my opinion. The only thing that impressed me was the character models, animations and destruction. Everything else doesn't look that special. Plus the tank scene, was the player even controlling the tank? I'm sure it was on rails. :lol: In Crysis 1 you can drive the tank, get out of it, do anything you want.PrettyHateMx
