Crysis modded >> Battlefield 3 graphically, but......

Wow, people are abit moody here. :? From what I've seen of BF3, Crysis 1 still looks better. Lets hope a game in 2011 can beat a game from 2007 visually and technically. BF3 looks static compared to Crysis. PrettyHateMx

LOL any game looks better then Crysis. The game has horrible anti-aliasing, AF, draw distance, late loading textures, and memory leaks. Most of the graphic mods are a joke. All they do is mess with the lighting and add a cfg's that also barely makes a difference. Nobody ever even made a proper high res texture mod..Only the nano suit and foliage...

Crysis is only good for compressed screenshots...

As far as foliage goes "Silent's High Res Foliage" is the good one. That being said, the .pak files can be opened in winrar so there's nothing stopping from removing duplicate textures from Rygel's and using both.Basically just delete any file in Rygel's .pak that is also in Silent's High Res Foliage.

I'm downloading Rygel's right now to try it out, wonder why I never bothered before....

Edit: Suppose I could upload Silent's High Res Foliage, I just don't know any decent free sites.... It's only around 80 MB.

Funny thing about BF3(and Frostbite 2) is that two best things about it(animations and lighting) are done by 3rd party :P Not to take anything from DICE,of course.

This is a simple question I'm not trying to claim anything...

But Crysis 2 has awesome looking urban / citywide environments. Any other games that match that right now> (that arent in the middle east? haha)

The BF3 footage I've seen has been rather impressive, it would be great if someone could post some sweetness!
