I JUST REALIZED SOMETHING:

I put everything on medium, except I turned shaders to low. The most dramatic thing happened: Lack of foliage, and even worse: lack of swaying foliage.

Yeah, it's for certain -- shaders to a helluva lot.

Is the demo DX10 compatible? Only in DX10 mode do you get full environment destructibility (not just blowing down houses by huffing and puffing).

I play in windowed mode 1280 x 720 at medium settings with texture on high with average of 20 fps (playable) with 7600gt and it looks terrific, the physics are just unbelieveable, you can break individual pieces of the tree and pick up 99% of objects in the world, blow up a barrel, pick up the shrapnel and hit people with it or chuck it, punch the shack down, pick up the panel
