Crysis who? (graphics related)

your one of those people what look at game liek gears and are like wow look it those graphics, but whne you really look at it they arn't that impressive

The games were created to give the impression that they look great but they arn't RE5 especially doesn't look that great

on paper im sure crysis beats re5 hands down... i dont look at numbers when i play, I look at the game scogburn

Except when Crysis' character models have more polygons, I am not going to claim that the RE5 models look better.

Wait your saying you can play Crysis at 1920x1080 at Very High Settings with 4x Anti-Aliasing Enabled? Yeah, I will believe it when I see it. Anyone who has played Crysis at those settings knows that Resident Evil 5 on a console doesn't even come close to that.

Give me a 3DMark Vantage score (Link to your score) and then, maybe, maybe I will believe you about how well you can play Crysis.

So you mean to tell me you are running the game at 1920×1080 Very High with 4x AA Well thats possible only on the GTX295 or a 4870x2. No way Post your specs And in your 1st post you make no sense when you talk about that thing your "6600 nvidia processor" there is no such thing there is however a Nvdia 6600 Graphics card but its not a processer. Plus the 360 runs a modified ATi Card and the Ps3 Runs a Modified 7800GT....

look bro i really dont care if u believe me or not im jus sayin my opinion. im not even sayin re5 is a good game (its actually really clumsy feeling) if i turn on my xbox and switch between the both of them re5 looks better... and ive never ran vantage but in 06 i was just shy of 19k good frames in crysis arnt really that hard people try to turn it in to the holy grail..i did it on parts i bought a year ago(minus the aa maxed) i gave my other card to my brother since then because it want necessary and he is broke

Why is it that consolites keep on bringing up games that rely on visual trickery to achieve their effects and try to challenge Crysis with them? Crysis doesn't use shortcuts.aliblabla2007

Can you please post a benchmark of Crysis so we can conclude that you are playing at the settings you're saying?

To play Crysis at 1920*1080 at very high settings with 4xAA would require a really beefy computer. Infact only the Radeon 4870x2 or Geforce 295GTX are capable of running Crysis at those settings at a playable framerate. RE5 is a great looking game and all but when you compare it to Crysis at those settings it doesnt compare. You obviously dont have a gaming PC capable of playing Crysis at those settings, otherwise you wouldnt have said such nonsense. Unless you can prove you have such a setup. karasill

My wife thinks her 10 year old mazda 626 looks better than a brand new porsche, she also prefers thew engine sound on her car. Resident evil 5 is very good looking game if not stop and try study details like this picture above. But nah Crysis is still the graphic king in the detail aspect.
