I personally think that FFXIII is the best looking console game as of right now. Crysis 2 could easily beat it on consoles but I haven't really been paying attention to how the console versions look all that much.

Either way Crysis w/ Ultra High mods is the best looking real-time graphics rendering available to the public and if Crysis 2 can surpass that on PC. Then F*** YES!

I think RAGE will beat Crysis 2 on consoles. I just don't see Crytek being all that effective with a fixed hardware platform.

Why they are not effective with a fixed hardware platform?

Because they can't fall back on the excuse of "we designed it for hardware that doesn't exist yet". In both id and Crytek's cases, this'll be the first time that they handled a console port in-house, but given both developers' track records (id's titles are playable on relatively modest hardware, perhaps due to their lengthy development cycles making the hardware target slide from high-end to mainstream over time), I'd put my money on Carmack & company.

You've probably never had a maxed out PC then. I can spend hours playing around with graphics and physics.
