Crytek: Crysis 2 on PS3 will be the best looking console game!

lead Playstation 3 programmer Michael Glück is confident that Crysis 2 will exceed anything that has gone before on a cosnole. he stated that PS3 have grown to be a successful machine and how Sony been making games with the best graphics. Michael is sure that Crysis 2 Playstation 3 will have the best graphics yet on a console and he's confident it will be better than Killzone 2, Uncharted 2 and God of War 3.

I can;t wait although I'm getting this on PC. Definitely not a boring game and it plays very beautifully. One of the best shooters gameplay wise to this date.

Make the gameplay amazing and I'll care. A console having the games with the best graphics are only relevant to fanboys that are so loyal towards a system, they must have it succeed..

The link doesn't say anything about the 360, or that the PS3 version of the game will look better. It just says the PS3 version will look better than any other PS3 game. For all we know it could look better than every other PS3 game, but worse than the 360 version. The thread title should be "Crysis 2 on PS3 will be the best looking PS3 game." Didnt Square Enix say FFXIII will look identical? now see how it ended up, PS3 version looked better.. of coruse they'll tell you its identical :P

While Crytek is saying they will be visually identical (which I happen to believe as of now) they could possibly be fudging the truth and the 360 version may go to sub HD.
