[QUOTE="KarateeeChop"] really? 2500 users doesn't sound like a lot.KarateeeChop

When one distro alone has 4 800 times the number of users you think all of Linux has, your credibility is down the drain. Plus, do you really think Valve, Crytek, and a throng of indies would develop for Linux if it only had 2 500 users?

:lol:

2500 is the reason most devs don't even bother with poor linux. :(

I'm glad we have lemmings like you around. You are an ambassador of XBox fans the world 'round.

[QUOTE="KarateeeChop"][QUOTE="Hexagon_777"]Look, Homie G, I know you are ignorant as can be, but hear me out, then I'll listen to you plea. Linux is everywhere these days. Your friends use it. Your neighbours use it. Your colleagues use it. You probably use it too. Inform yourself next time and step out of the past and into the future.

Take a look at Manjaro. Like Mint, but even nicer due to the rolling release cycle. :oops:

Yeah, Manjaro is quite nice. Thats the one thing I wish Mint had, that rolling release, and a kernal that hasn't been broken in one way or another by Canoncal.

The way the graphics drivers are kept up to date without breaking (which apparently is an issue in openSUSE Tumbleweed, the rolling release version of openSUSE) is gorgeous as well. Definitely prefer Manjaro over Mint now.

Then thats another big plus, I've broken things trying to update display drivers in Mint a couple times.

I have gone from Nvidia driver 319.17 to 319.23 to 319.32 without even noticing because there were no issues. Updating graphics drivers on Mint was a pain admittedly. I get the point of static release distros but they aren't for me. With gaming becoming bigger on Linux, rolling release distros are the way to go in my opinion.

Oh wow, I tried it out in a virtual machine ,and it blows away Linix Mint lol. I am strongly considering switching to Manjaro/Arch Linux in the near future.
