I use it on ONE gaming PC that is already better than the PS4, but I also us it to play odler games on my laptop, my wife's laptop, and the old PC at my fathers. SO people like me pretty much screw up Steam stats.

even the past couple of gens when consoles were closer to pc than ever before they looked like a 6 to 12 month old mid range pc at best.

I was offered a steam survey in a less than a month on the laptop running on a 1st gen mobile core i3 I bought yet it took nearly two years for them to offer it to my gaming PC witha GTX 570 and AMD phenom ii X6 1090t

when will they realize that steam surveys are random and optional, not to mention the fact that you can practically install steam onto anything that runs, Windows, Mac, or linux

Well, I guess the amount of PCs with integrated graphics still far outnumber those with dedicated graphics card.

And there are people who *do* attempt to run modern games on them.

I don't think it will even be like that.  With console hardware being so similar to PC next Gen ports may not really be "ports" and the PC version of games will just be the unlocked version of the game with the full graphical options available.

Steam survey is optional, what automatically implies that that survey doesn´t reflect the builds of the whole steam population. I, for example, own a gaming PC and don´t remember having been surveyed by Steam. Hence this survey is flawed.
