This list is changing because its still early. Soon we will get MSFS for xbox and its going to be the graphics king until the end of the generation. Thats just how it is, sonys console is weaker than the xbox.

Power or not, the three best looking console games right now are R&C: RA, Demon's Souls and Returnal. Gears 5 looks good, like TLOU2 or Days Gone good, should not be mentioned in the top 3.

MSFS on PC beats anything on console, but the Xbox version again isn't as good as any of those PS5 exclusives.

yep, people have a hard time accepting it but the XsX IS stronger than the ps5 by a good margin and is the strongest next gen console. No game will look better on the ps5. Demon souls is a joke, returnal isn't going to stress the xbox. R&C is the only game on ps5 that right now I will agree is the console graphics king. The devs did a fantastic job from what I can see and honestly its a game I want to buy myself if it weren't so damn expensive.

FH5 and MSFS are right around the corner so R&C will very likely lose its title.

It just hit me. When was the last time Nintendo had the graphics king🤭Over 20 years ago? God damn.

it's not hard to figure out. i don't get why you don't get it. tlou2 is stunning, in game characters and environments are incredibly detailed, the lighting is superb, it's choc full of amazing little details as you interact with the game world through combat, exploration or any other means. performance is buttery smooth, even with the backwards compatible patch i.e. no 4k it still holds its own with this gen titles. it beats demon souls by some distance but it's harder to separate from r&c, two very different visual styles makes it harder to compare. haven't played got on ps5 but other than a nice colour palette wasn't all that impressed with it on ps4

Yeah it has arguably the best physics in gaming. It also has the best implementation of raytracing.

The survey is pretty accurate based on what I see on the street. Most people I see playing with a Switch in public are teenagers, 20 somethings and early 30s adults. I know plenty of young adults with no kids that own a Switch for themselves. The Switch really is that appealing to all age demographics. Cows are just trying to dismiss Switch sales by saying it is only kids buying them because they're upset that the Switch is outselling the PS4. Never mind all the kids on PlayStation playing Fortnite.

I'm one of those adults who always play my Switch in public places like whenever I take the bus to work (nowadays I'll drive when it takes me just 10 minutes to get their lol) and I'll start playing which is why I love the Switch for its portability and I rarely play it at home when my gaming PC just tells me it wants to play games with it. I find Cows showing more hatred on Switch than Xbox Series X but that's funny to see here.

For me, and I don't PC game, but RE8 and Returnal.

Cyberpunk 2077.

R&C may look like a Pixar movie, but CP2077 still does materials and details better. I prefer it even tho there are probably more triangles in Ratchet's forehead than a typical CP npc. I find the setting of Night City more impressive with the packed streets and awesome ray tracing (again, material textures are very very good).

The only thing R&C has on it is polygon count per model, which is def not the most interesting thing about graphics

I just came to this thread to remind everyone that Ratchet is the best looking game on our planet.

But is it Flight Simulator good? 🤔

I mean, are we taking into consideration games that run at 37fps with an rtx3090? Not to mention that outside of planes, the up close detail in a flight sim is not as good as it is in a game like Ratchet or Demon's remake. All these incredible visuals and only for $400. Thank you Sony.
