Wii: Ask me in about five months and I'll tell you. As of now, in my honest opinion... no. Twilight Princess is still the best game on the platform, and I could have experienced that on my Gamecube. SSX Blur was decent, Super Paper Mario was good, Wii Sports was briefly amusing for a few pick up and play sessions, but other than that nothing has amazed me. I'm hoping Metroid, Smash Bros., and Super Mario Galaxy will help me feel better about the purchase though.

360: NO! Don't get me wrong, Gears of War is one of the best games I've ever played, but it doesn't justify the pricetag. Not to mention that yesterday my console got the dreaded "Red Ring of Death", I'm now moving onto my fifth Xbox 360.

Yeah. My PS2 looks like complete trash on my hdtv and the 360 has had plenty of games I have enjoyed.I have not experienced any hardware issues so far.

Yes, i believe my Wii was well spent. Zelda kept me happy for a long time, and i picked up SPM too. Will be getting Strikers on monday, follow by the big 3 when they arrive.

Also, Kudos to you the-very-best; your threads are always solid, with no fanboy bull$hit in them. Keep it up.

When you play mostly old games, like myself, it's really hard to say that newer games are satisfactory. :( But, I'm pretty happy with my Wii and my PC, since I'm playing all those old games again, and playing new games.

I've had a bit of buyers remorse with my 360 (reliability, craptastic interface, price gouging on accessories), the PS3 is way too expensive (somewhat less so until the 60gb is sold-out) and ahead of it's time, and the Wii is too last-gen for my tastes (I'm a shallow graphics whore). Overall I think the last gen was better, but that may just be because I came in late when prices came down and bugs were worked out.

The only system i regret getting was a gamecube. My ps3 is worth it for what your getting and the 360 is awesome too but Im a little too old for a Nintendo Wii.

Wii: I'm semi satisfied. Not many good games aside from TP, SPM, and RE4: wii edition. But later in 2007 seems great for the wii. ie. When MP3, SMG, BWii, Zack and wiki, and SSBB come out.

360: I don't really have that much for the system yet. Coupled with the fact I don't really have any way to connect to xboxlive due to the fact that my computer and router is downstairs and my 360 is up stairs *and getting the wireless dongle is out of the question seeing as I'm strippedfor cash right now*. I'd need to get more games ie. Assasin's creed, lost planet before I make my decision. I'll tell you one thing. A 360 with out xbox live feels like an empty experience.I just wish there were more big one player games that didn't focus heavily on multiplayer *I'm looking at you gears of war*

It's been well worth it for me with my 360. I haven't had any issues with it besides a few Oblivion crashes. Also, I've had a lot of friends who have gotten one as well and now Live is much more fun than it was back on the Xbox.

Kinda, there are great games on the 360 it just feels as though I'm missing something.

Probably because my most played games is Gears though - and it's severely lacking in content.

No you should buy a console after it's been out for either 1 or 2 years, then it will have tons of games and upgrades. Waiting is agony.wallpaper42

Waiting is agony, and that's exactly why you should go next-gen. Why wait for a library to grow before making a purchase when you can simply enjoy the titles as they come out?

360 - I got this on the midnight launch and it was worth it from the start. First time seeing "next gen graphics", playing PGR3 and PDZ on Live, and downloading all the new demos were all very cool. Achievement points turned out to be fun. Then playing completely through Gears of War co-op online with my best friend was amazing. My launch unit had the RROD a few months ago, but that still doesn't take away all the fun I've had on it. I also have so many games to look forward to this holiday season.

Wii - I got this at launch night as well. Though I love Nintendo more then MS or Sony, so far i haven't played it so much. I've had Zelda:TP not long after launch but I haven't felt like making my way through it for some reason. Red Steel lost my interest early as well. So I mainly played Wii Sports but I grew tired of it. Though it has the worst online of the 3, I see them making progress, and maybe they can come up with some cool new interactive online channels. The Wii has had some decent releases so far, but for me Mario Galaxy, Metroid Prime 3 and SSBM are when I will start to play the Wii non-stop.

PS3 - I just got this a few weeks ago so I can't be so in depth, but so far it has been pretty cool. Though installing stuff is silly, the new triggers aren't so hot and the tilt controls in the demos I've played aren't exactly the best, overall I have played the PS3 the most since I got it. I was able to get the 60GB with the EE chip so now I have 1 systems to play PS1-3 games. It'll only get better from here.
