[QUOTE="DireToad"][QUOTE="Tylendal"][QUOTE="DireToad"][QUOTE="mistervengeance"]take a hint sheep, animal crossing is a game you SHOULD be hypingTylendal
They're too busy proving the Wii is getting all this great third party support.
I mean c'mon.
De Blob, Mushroom Men, Little King's Story and now this game? Wow. Talk about great new IPs.
Plus they get the best versions of games like Spore, Madden and Rock Band.
What do the PS3, 360 and PC have against that? Games like Mirror's Edge, Resident Evil 5, Metal Gear Solid 4, Gears of War 2, Final Fantasy 13, Fallout 3 and Fable 2... Which isn't much I'd say.
Clearly the third party devs have made their choice this gen.No, those devs made their choice last gen. Seriously, Mirrors Edge is the only game in that lot that's not a sequel. The devs making the choice THIS GEN are all leaning towards the Wii. On top of that, you seem to think that games like De Blob, Mushroom Men, and Little King's Story are bad games, when all hands on reviews say otherwise. At least the Wii is getting something new.
Not sequels to some of the best franchises ever created?! That is truly terrible.
Whatever will PS3, 360 and PC owners do?!?!
lol sheep didn't seem to mind sequels like RE4 last gen when they were actually getting them.Did I ever say that sequels were bad? Stop putting words in my mouth, doing so is no better than outright lying.
All I'm saying is that the companies that made those sequels are likely to stay with the companies console that the prequels were made on, meaning that they are likely to have a larger fanbase.
What I am saying is that the 360/PS3 are getting games that are pretty much guaranteed for the system, while Wii is getting new series from both indie and established devs.
Do you now see how I'm saying that your statement "third party devs have made their choice this gen" is false due to the fact that most of the third party games you listed were from franchises that started following a certain company in previous generations. Once again, games like Mushroom Men, Endless Ocean, De Blob, Boom Blox, Little King's Story, and No More Heroes shows that devs that are truly making the choice THIS gen are leaning towards the Wii. Those games are not sequels, which means that there is no existing fanbase to try and follow. As such, the devs are free to choose which system to develop for, and they're choosing the Wii.
and it's just a coincidence that the only one of these games that is any good had a spiritual prequel on the GAMECUBE?
NO WAI
