Skyrim does not have guns, so it is not a first person shooter. It is an action game. Shocking, I know.

Incidentally, Skyrim is an example of why action gameplay in first person mode sucks.

I think some sources claimed it will feature both first person and third person perspectives. Sources got it from some apparent presentation CDPR held.

I'm afraid this article is riddled with bad translation of the original polish interview.

For example Adam Kiciński said at the beginning of the interview that they have reached the milestone in their production but did not say it was the engine.

Next question that was asked referred to engine and then Kiciński confirmed that it is in fact already up and running but I read it (I'm a native speaker) as another question that is not related to the milestone topic (as I understood Kiciński did not reveal what the milestone was).

Now on to translation of the quote in the article, this actually should read:

Release Date?

You will need to wait patiently for the official reveal. Most certainly we will not announce the release date this year. Will we announce it next year? - I will not answer. Commenting the speculations that are flying around would not be beneficial to us. Building players interest is now most important and it will translate into sales.

So possibly the release date will be announced sometime in next year and production is moving nicely, there are no road blocks at this stage, to the contrary, they feel more safe now (since the mysterious milestone).

Also bear in mind that the original article is from a Polish business magazine - so naturally they were focusing on business aspects of the project and CDPR in general.

I would love for it to be Witcher 3 in the future. Gameplay wise. Just up the fighting system to something a little more cohesive and best game eva on the way!

I wonder if it will have graphics in the demonstration that wont be in the final game like they did with TW3.

Saying all 3 witcher games combined is beaten by any single game is the more incorrect opinion ever.

And even if you dont like it, saying it isnt a good game is just plain wrong. I dont really like OoT, another competitor for most overrated game ever, but i recognize that its a good game. Bad games, minus dude bro shooters, dont sell over 30 million copies and win hundreds of awards.

They were more concerned with their new-found console money than to give full care with PC and its modding capabilities. As a longtime CDPR even I felt they shifted to a much more obvious "Mass appeal" focus between Witcher 2 and 3.

You're not a good game. Witcher 3 is still better than you and originalz Deus EX combined x50. It still beats you with one hand behind its back.
